TL;DW: Super Cut of Jonk killing his teammates (mostly Alex) in Elden Ring. Also the stream I found out I'm probably one of the longest current KZbin members of WPE at 2 years, 2 months, and change.

You know, those friendly backstabs could actually help out during the bosses. Here's why: Both players are invulnerable during the animation, and if the backstabber uses a weak weapon against their teammate, it'll do less damage than the boss' attack. (Spoilers below) Take the optional boss Malenia for example, her windfall attack (I think that's what it's called, I can't remember) is fast and does a lot of damage as a result. If a player is backstabbed during the attack...You see where I'm going with this?

The attack is called waterfowl dance. It’s one of the hardest attacks to dodge in the ENTIRE game

I don't believe this would work how you think it does due to the fact that her moves are somewhat broken in multiplayer. In order to compensate for lag during multiplayer sessions, status effects still go through if the invincibility frames start too close to when the attack lands, meaning even though she wouldn't do damage, she would probably still heal a bunch of her health

@@benjackson7690 that is a fair point. I forgot that she could heal even if she doesn't actually damage you. So I guess the only advantage would be that both players wouldn't be killed by the attack.

On the technical side of this, I am actually impressed. Elden ring is a game where if you die with your friends, you are teleported back to your world. They seemed to have modded the game somehow to make it permanent co-op.

It is a mod called seamless coop on nexus that removes all area fog wall boundaries(the ones that block you from entering a cave while doing coop for example) and ands QOL features such as a toggle for pvp, a spectate mode if u die during a boss, everyone being able to use a horse, and getting a random debuff upon death instead of respawning everything(if it isn't a party wipe)
