If your games STILL are not appearing and your paths are correct, make sure you save your files in a folder then rename the iso to literally "game.iso". For example if I have "Kirby's Air Ride (USA)" I'll throw it in a folder named "Air Ride" and rename the iso to "game.iso". So when I go to the USB, it should be set up like: games/Air Ride/game.iso

@@Soccer5se so you need to have Nintendont downloaded and installed in your apps folder first. So make sure you have that right. Should look like "SD:/apps/Nintendont" or "USB:/apps/Nintendont" And then go to USBloaderGX and enter the settings, and "loader settings". In there you scroll down a bit till you see "---- gamecube settings ----" Under there make sure these are set right 1) "Gamecube Source" Change that to "main path" if not already, and 2) "Gamecube Mode" change that to "Nintendont" if not already. [Note if you had to do any of these steps. Id recomemend you to check the "Custom Paths" option in the settings and just make sure the "Main Gamecube Path" is set to where your GCgames are located.]

For those who had the error ‘You need to install an additional GameCube loder or select a different GameCube Mode to launch GameCube games from USB or SD card.’ You can fix it by going back to default settings, then doing what the video tells you and then restart ur usbloadergx. Have fun gaming

Fun Fact about Nintendont: You dont have to use a Classic or Gamecube Controller to play GCN games, You can just use a Nunchuk if you dont have those controllers.

In order to run games from usb pen drive or usb hdd/ssd, put the "Nintendont" folder with all necessary files in it also on the usb drive, in the apps folder, and use that folder as the path for nintendont in usb loader gx's settings. Running fine like this. ;)

Not sure if this makes a difference but my settings for Main GameCube path is set to my usb drive/games but Nintendont is on the SD with all the other apps. Was able to load from USB loader no problem. Only problem is getting back to the loader to switch games. I have to save the game. Then power off. Then go back in to change games. Kind of inconvenient but loads without going thru Nintendont

sometimes the problem is the name of the rom file you have to name it "game" and then "." (dot) whatever word comes after that

So, I struggled alot whilst trying to get my games to show through an SD-card. All the guides told me to rename the actual game file to game.iso I noticed that newer windows updates adds the .iso by its own. So i renamed the game file to "game" only, without the .iso text - and THEN it worked like a charm. Otherwise nintendont read the file as "game.iso.iso", and that didn't work. (Works with nkit.iso files aswell)

This also works if you have gamecube games on the usb, just select the main gamecube path to the games folder and nothing in the sd path

Use a powered USB drive. If using a USB thumbdrive the Wii sometimes reboots the UBS ports and loses power.

I haven't found a solution for this anywhere else so I'm going to ask here. My SD Card that I use for homebrew software isn't very big so I can't put my GameCube games on it, so it's on a 64GB flash drive (formatted FAT32) with my Wii games, I set up the folder/file names correctly. However, the GC games don't appear in USBLoaderGX even after checking the box to show them, I don't see a way change the path to the USB in settings, and when I select USB in Nintendon't, it claims that there are no games in the Games folder. Is there anything that I can do or do GC games absolutely have to be on SD so I'm just screwed?

I got my games to show up, and then today they weren't. The fix for me to get them to show up again was to go to settings, then go to the last page and hit default settings. Then go back and make sure the gamecube path is to the hdd games folders. Now it's all working.

my game plays fine but i can't exit without a freeze. i waited 30+ minutes once with the last frame from when i pressed the home button/dualshock shutdown combo. i always have to shutdown with the power button, and i dont think it's good for the system. is there a fix for this, or could i have missed something when i set everything up?

Hey, my USB Loader GX doesn't show gamecube games, nor what's in the USB (When i turn it on it disconnects the USB port) So i put the games (the 2 games that i want to play since Nintendon't doedn't make it work since it's a loader) in my SD Card and doesn't work I'm very bad at USB Loader GX tbh, it's basically why i even tried to get MIOS DIOS (1st Gamecube emulator) but that's kinda shit ngl, it's hard So anyway, USB Loader only shows what's on the Wii (The channels & stuff)

This was done on the Wii! But can also be done on the vwii with the Wii u :) I would say the difficultly is about the same to homebrew! Wii u sometimes has extra steps since it has the Wii u menu and the virtual Wii menu

Go to the list preview mode in the usb loader on the wii. Then scroll to the game that you want, click on the image on the left of that game. there you see the option to download the covers, banners etc. All of it

Nintendont doesnt require this I just have all my .ISO's in the games folder. Nintendont sees them and GXloader does not. So for people like us we will have to go and put each game in a folder name it and rename each iso to game.iso, pain in the ass.
