@@anonymouslyforgotten5592 So what exactly made you want a Chromebook in the first place? This is a question I need an answer to! Even the "cheap" 128gb iPad at the time would have been better. And that new "cheap" a13 iPad with 256gb storage is looking unbeatable. Processor wise, it's on par with an i7 7700hq. If casual/mobile games are what you want, that will probably be the best choice. If it is a "Gaming PC" you want, grab some used Full size desktop (not small form factor) for around $200, i5 with 16gb ram and an SSD boot drive, toss in a 1050ti and you're good to go for around $300, then add another SSD as a dedicated game drive for maximum MLG XD! Years ago I made a calculated purchase, Lenovo Legion Y520, i7 7700hq, 16gb ram, GTX 1050ti, 256gb SSD, 2TB HDD, clearance special. Looks like it will be lasting me to the end of Windows 10. The RTX 3050ti isn't quite good enough to consider upgrading yet. Nothing since then has been a better value. I went maximum power, funny that the iPhone SE is now exactly as powerful, hopefully the $20 Roku with Airplay I just got can allow me to use my phone in a desktop manner, since the OFFICIAL Lightning to HDMI dongle is practically useless and overheats after like 10 minutes.

@@Trainboy1EJR Well it's quite simple my friend, I didn't know any of that. 😅 I just asked for a computer. The only thing I really wanted to do is play ps now on the laptop, and some other things that I cant remember. Then, I realized the Chromebook wasn't compatible with any of that shit. It's literally an oversized android.

No your specs I3 and just cause it has 8gb of ram doesn't mean it will run better smoother. Your GPU that Core I3 11th is low for that game equip with Intel UHD graphics perofrmance. This spec good for roblox 30fps minecraft 30fps OSU might go 90fps on low setting. I give you example sir. I have Asus gaming laptop and Im able to play genshin impact 60fps roblox 60fps minecraft 60 and OSU 240fps. I cant tell you my specs is very secret to let anyone know what the specs that can run your favorite games.

I’m getting a chromebook later this week for university and it’s acc very powerful and looks nice. I also had a school chromebook and it lagged for basically every game I played but just cause the school ones are trash doesn’t make every other chromebook trash

@@zu7852 mines is almost 570 dollars, it was a budget Gaming Laptop. And yes, it runs really well. All you need is a 8 Ram mostly like every games needs 8 Ram

The Android version iirc does not have any keyboard/mouse support Similarly, the Windows version does not have any touchscreen support

I think this is laggy because of ARMv8-64 translation layer. Genshin Impact on Android is compiled as ARMv8-64, not x86-64. It struggles to get everything works in Chrome OS with x86-64 architecture.

@@Cecceee Nope, I don’t think I ever did. I have a new computer and don’t play Genshin anymore though. Sorry!! Though, I did notice that with certain computers that if you plug it in while it’s running a game, it will run with a better frame rate. Good luck!

I once downloaded Genshin Impact from the Play Store, when I downloaded the game data, it was 7GB out of a total of 13GB, suddenly there was a notification that your memory wasn't enough, even though I still had 10GB of memory left, what do you think?

Probably in-game files. when i first downloaded Honkai Impact (The game that came before Genshin) it had to download files for textures in the game, so i bet Genshin has the same thing, and in total the size of the files were like 17 gigs, so in total it was 20 gigs. So you need a LOT of storage for games like Genshin.

Downloading it now, on my HP chromebook. Mine is not touch screen. *** it ended up not being able to play in my HP chrome book because it would crash while downloading. Now that I played the game on my phone i see that it would be hard to play this game without the touchscreen.

Download Panda Mouse Pro, or Panda Gamepad pro from happymod (google it). There u can download for free. With no licence check annoying gameplay.

I have no idea if my issue is due to my chromebook or slow internet I'm running an HP x360 14a, it only has a dual core processor, but it's running Android version 9 And I have the game downloaded it's just that... @@yureiins I have no idea Uh... technically alot of computers can run windows, the issue would be actually getting the current operating system off of it so you can load windows in I know you can run a Windows emulator through the built in Linux Kernal, but that's not very space efficient and if you want it exclusively windows, I would think you might need a third party tool to do that And you'd definitely be voiding the warranty
