I think that's the beauty of all the characters in this show. Nobody fits snugly into the stereotype you're lead to expect them to be. They're very real characters. I don’t ship Christine and Jake, but I agree, Jeremy shouldn’t have gotten with her in the end. I wish the story focused more around him learning to be okay with who he is without needing acceptance from anyone else + him learning to be content with where he is in life and the pace he’s going. Also, I wish Christine would’ve found a good friend in Jeremy, since she’s sort of just...alone...other than him and Jake, who want to date her. She and Michael deserve the world, they’re such wholesome buns

Yeah, you're right, imagine being in Christine's situation. Even though I believe Christine wanted to give Jeremy a chance, it still is a lot of pressure, i mean, this dude, that almost destroyed school and human civilization (yes i'm quoting Jeremy) because he wanted to date you is asking for another chance. Christine must've thought something like: Geez, what Will happen if I say no? We all know Jeremy wouldnt do anything about it, he'll have to accept it, but Christine didnt know that. All i'm trying to say is that maybe Jeremy placed Christine in a kinda uncomfortable situation. I love this musical with my heart but I really think it's ending should be more about Jeremy understanding that he is wonderful with or without Christine by his side. I repeat, this was my first musical and it has a place in my Heart. Soo no hate here.

catch me squealing in excitement and sending this to all my friends. The designs for everyone are so good and fit the characters so well! And the way the animation flows and the way you frame the scenes and the expressions - it adds so much to the comedy and drama. Seeing Jeremy peeking through that door? My hEART. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t even really like his character, but you *make* me like him! And the teacher in the foreground asking about Madeline as he pans off screen - it genuinely made me laugh. I love the teacher’s look too. This is just the best. No more is to be said and done. I have such a huge appreciation for her channel, and I will stick with her through the end! Just the details of everybody’s body language, facial expressions, and voices just makes it feel like I am watching an actual animated movie...except it’s a *MUSICAL!!!* What more could you ask for? In her More Than Survive animatic, she starts the video off with such smooth and clearly drawn lines, and the first few frames you immediately fall on love with her style! The lines are so clearly drawn and easy to follow, in a soothing fluid way. Also, she animated an *EIGHT* minute long song, with not one part that looked like the animation was down. The whole entire thing is just amazing! You can tell she worked her butt off creating all the frames, and sketches in this animatic! The character designs in this one are *AMAZING!!!!* I almost died when I saw Michael for the first time in her style, and all the other characters. Not once was I let down when I watched it, and is a full on great musical experience. In her I Love Play Rehearsal animatic... wow. It’s my favorite one she’s done so far, even though I have watched it at least eight times already. You just never get tired of her work, which goes to show how amazing she is at animating. She did such a wonderful job portraying Christine in this animatic, not only because it’s her song, but because she needs to show who Christine is as a person, and she portrayed her beautifully. You also get to see Jeremy’s connection to her, and you can easily tell how much he likes her! They are just so wholesome, and wonderful, and it makes me so happy! I would also like to point out in this animatic that she adds *SO MUCH* smooth animation frames, and it looks so professional and neat! In her Upgrade animatic, she makes me *FEEL* for every single character. For Brooke, as she truly likes Jeremy, and doesn’t know that she’s being used only for Jeremy’s progression towards Christine, for Jake, because he may be a bit of a player, but he wants to get to know Christine, since he clearly has some sort of feelings for her, even though they aren’t that real, for Christine, because she likes Jake. That was made obvious in A Guy That I’d Kinda Be Into song, and she feels generally happy that she gets to spend more time with the person she likes, and for Jeremy, as it breaks his heart to see the girl he cares so deeply for, choose someone else instead. He knows deep down that what he’s doing is wrong, and that he shouldn’t try to make Christine feel what she doesn’t feel, and rather just let her choose on her own. But he can’t. He has just been a nobody his whole life, to his schoolmates, to Christine, and to himself, and when you see him confront Michael, Jeremy’s confused. Micheal is sad, and doesn’t understand at first, but when he does, he is generally happy for his friend as it seems he found happiness because of The Squip, and congratulates his friend like he should. But Jeremy doesn’t feel like that’s enough. He doesn’t feel like he’s enough for the high school world he is part of, and simply just want to be cool, or if you put it, chill. He wants to be free of who he thought was holding him back, and when The Squip tells him that to Upgrade, Jeremy has to leave Michael behind, Jeremy takes the Upgrade over Michael, because he believes that having Michael as a friend isn’t enough, and that *HE* isn’t enough for Michael. Jeremy wants to be more than who he truly is, and that’s what got him into this mess in the first place. In the animatic, you can literally see every. single. characters. pain, and emotions in each frame. It’s just incredible. I will wait as long as it takes for more of these animatics, and highly encourage you to watch the other animatics if you haven’t already! 👍

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE THIS! A sight for sore eyes during quarantine for sure! The attention you put toward the individual frames still blows me away. That scene with Christine and Jake was actually really sweet. You made it believable that Christine would fall for him. You can tell he’s being genuine with her. I always felt it was important to make it clear that he genuinely does want to get to know her better, but the high school climate they’re in pressures them to be someone they’re not until it all goes wrong. Kudos to you for not painting Jeremy, Christine, or Jake in this instance in a bad light but as individuals with their own feelings, which is the point of the show. Jeremy’s expressions during the reprise broke my heart like they did back when I first watched your “More Than Survive” animatic. Facial expressions have always been one of your strongpoints. Also, that little tug on his hair he does before the reprise is strangely human and endearing. Wonder if that “tic and fidget” will come back later...? Also Rich’s entrance with the rest of the group was perfect. He would totally do that. And I’m glad we’re getting to see Mr. Reyes in your animatics! I love his design. Oooooooooooof.... As someone who was Jeremy all the way through High School.... I FELT this one. Especially him just sitting there awkwardly, watching the girl he's crushing on being won over by some other guy.... Shoot.... HS flashbacks aside - ANOTHER AMAZING ONE! Seriously, they emote so well, and look so smooth. Especially love Rich slamming into the theater the way he does. Just makes so much sense as something that he'd do.
