EmuVR is literally a full-blown nostalgia simulator. Go into Virtual Reality and play emulate some of your favorite retro games. You bring your own roms so theres no limitations to what classics are availble. Personally i use Emu on the Oculus Quest through Virtual Desktop but you can run in on all steamVR headsets just fine. Alright for PCSX2 you HAVE to get the large Bios file, i tried using just the smaller one i use for my other PCSX2 applications and it was no good. Use the one with like 30+ files lol. PSX i have no idea, i did the same steps as PCSX2 and it gives me an error and white screen.

Been playing emulators on my PC to recapture that Kid nostalgia. And my god I do NOT KNOW how this escaped me. You can hook it up, put the game in, pop a squat, and play on a screen close to what you had. VR isn't the future, its also the past :D

@@solidvault3698 Yeah My pc emulators are all affected by my vivid colors, and I can never get them to be the authentic color pallet the system or TVs had. and its one of my favorite things about EMUVR. Playing snes on like what you said CRT filters, with the natural coloring. It completes the whole experience. Even down to the screen curving a bit into the corners of the TV, giving it that glass screen feel.

Hi! So I’m new to vr and I don’t have an oculus yet but I have used my cousins oculus before. My question is how do you transfer emu vr and retro arch from the pc to the oculus? I’m guessing you can connect the oculus to the pc with a cord or something? Sorry if this is a dumb question I do want to get an oculus soon. This is a great tutorial!! I’m literally just starting to get into VR. I do understand emulation and pcs. Also another question can you invite friends to your emu vr room if they have an oculus?

Someone of fiverr made my avatar for me, but there are plenty of free avatars to find in vrchat. The 'virtual enviroment' is actually just my home in vrchat. Lastly, vrchat has a camera feature in the game, and i just set it up and record with obs :)

Do you just need the bios in for ps2 to work and does it have to be in the folder you made and do you know if u can import pcsx2 into emu vr or does the ps2 bios make the play core in retroarch work?

hey so I followed your guide step by step & I was trying to play spider-man 2 and I have the bios & everything but after I insert the disk the tv will turn on but then the game wont boot up & the console shuts down after 3 sec. what do i do?

You can change it in the retroarch settings, press F1 when your in TV mode.

Plug your vr into your pc, then run the game through This PC > (The drive you installed it on, most commonly C: i believe) > EmuVR_(version) > Force Oculus / SteamVR

If you are using a PS2 make sure you name it "PCSX2" and not "PCXS2" otherwise this is a great guide
