Glad to see DOSBox is working with Linux and the Intel Arc cards. DOSBox doesn't work in Windows with the Arc cards since about 4 months ago with driver 4676 being the last to work. I've tried the latest Arc driver 5085, and DOSBox still not working in Windows. In Windows Event Viewer the error says the Faulting module path is: C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\iigd_dch_d.inf_amd64_31f0afbf31adacfe\igd9trinity32.dll. So Intel's file igd9trinity32.dll must be the culprit.

As hopping arc a770 gpu is a huge leap of faith as performance across game can vary , i ended up with a used 6800xt

I would love to see how Cyberpunk 2077 runs on your A770 vs your AMD card . Also curious on linux vs windows performance for the A770 in that game as well.

SC2k is a pretty hard game, all the SC that came after it were easy next to it. Or maybe I just got older and learned how to deal better with budget, who knows.

I’m pretty sure I figured out the game 15+ years ago, but I also haven’t played it in about that long. Iirc SC3 and SC4 is a bit easier.
