Same thing happened to me 3 months ago when I tried to install HEN on it, I already needed the Wifi/Bluetooth module board replacing which I haven’t yet..but some idiot ruined it and we had a falling out ever since, the super slim has never been opened and still has the warranty seal on it. I still have the same problem even when removing and reinstalling the HDD on it. I wanna play it before GTAV’s online servers shut down this December and module boards are going out of stock on eBay for my specific PS3 Model :(

Hello Mike, have you tried anything else to solve this issue? Unfortunatelly facing the same problem since today... as I just "tried" to update my PS3 (slim CEH3004B)... was running fine and now I'm in circles of this stupid updates not able to use my PS3 again... the battery swich I did too... not working. On youtube I'm finding some Wifi/BT Modules re-installing but this is already really not so "user-friendly" anymore... :-\

Bro I just had the same issue happen to me! Sony support won't help! I'm seeing issues that this update is fucking everyone over and messing up ps3s! And Sony won't do shit ! I changed out my battery ps3Slim 160 gig model year 2011. Mint condition. Was running perfectly try fine ! Now it doesnt work ! I even bought a new ssd with a USB to update via the USB Drive...it works for a few . Ssd formats . Agree to update terms through Sony. And boom error code 8002f1f9 and 8002f107 !!

@@nellynellz1990 Nelly I feel so sorry with you about that, it really sucks... I decided to buy 2days ago used PS3 via ebay... the same model in good condition, still with warranty-seal a running smoothly... I can only tell you, I will never connect it to internet and do any f*cking update anymore... it's pitty but I can at least play my today already old school games on CD again. I'm used to solve every technical problem, always... this one I did not manage. :-/

hi pavel only way to fix is replace Wifi ,BT . but it works out cheaper for me to buy second hand PS3 . keep the old pS3 for spare parts .

This error happent to me when I tried to mod the slim with hen, removing the hdd and installing it again and the update finished and now works perfectly and I can use hen, might have lucked it out tho, got this ps3 for 20euros tho so can't complain, but I think I am stuck with the original 320hdd since the wifi is busted

Replace the motherboard or if you are an expert then you can change the WiFi/BT module because thats whats causing the problem and you can replace the motherboard because replacing the module is very hard and yea I have the same problem
