Surprise your opponents by using the Barry Attack move order in your games. For instance, if your opponent usually plays the King's Indian Defence and the Sicilian, with the Barry move order you could potentially redirect the game towards a Pirc defense, which could be a big achievement as early as move 4. Your opponents will encounter difficulties as they move away from their familiar playing ground.

Minute 13:30 not Bc4, more easy is 1.Nxf6+ exf6 2.Qh7+ Kf7 3.Qxf7#.

Hello GM Gonzalez, I read that you did not start playing chess until your teenage years. Is that correct? If so, that is absolutely amazing to earn the GM title! I think that is a very, very rare achievement, basically unheard of. How did you do it?

Hi there! Actually, I played my first tournament at 13, but I already knew how to play and even had some books! I fell in love with the game, read plenty of books, and took it very seriously, always accepting challenges. But I improved at a very fast pace-I don't know how it happened. Love for the game and excessive optimism to choose chess as a career from a very early age, who knows. I really experienced something curious: all my opponents were already recognized players, and I was the underdog most of the time. It was a rough road, but in the end, a rewarding experience.
