This test is a bit unfair because you don't test the speed of browsers separately, so open tabs from other browsers starting with Edge can affect the result of the next browser. Of course, I don't know what configuration you used for the comparison, but if it was a PC with a small amount of RAM, the actual result could be very different.

I thin Microsoft Edge is using some kind of DirectStorage thats why its faster, meanwhile Firefox use more CPU usage.

I used brave for 3 year and nothing else. I downloaded arc beta, there were bugs but i switched to Arc as i shifted all my bookmarks, extension and password. Suddenly i started getting ads because of menifest v3. I quit using arc the same day after using it for 1 month. Now Firefox is default along with brave for some chromium only extensions. My 95% usage is on Firefox but sometimes it taked a lot of ram and drain battery on standby.

I also was not gonna change, it is a nice browser. However I got too upset with it running in the background always eating 300MB of RAM for no reason. I'm on Firefox now, at least you can customize it and it's a more clean usage.

@@LordKosmux Well maybe I should consider about changing to Firefox but some people says Firefox can't run some websites, did you encounter any websites that doesn't work on Firefox?

@@MrTopik-yg1fc None, but I know that you may be unable to see some of the webkit (chrome and edge) styles as Firefox uses a different engine. But hardly or never you will see a site that won't work.

If you change your browser based on these benchmarks you'll be changing it every month or each time a new video is released. Shaving one second off page loading times isn't going to affect your life significantly. Either of them are great options and run the vast majority of websites without problems.

Your Internet is just slow or your PC is slow. The same pages open almost immediately for me. I don't notice any difference at all.

The one issue with FF is that some websites won't display properly and look clunky. The high ram usage is only an issue if running on a system with less than 32Gb of RAM.
