I neglected to mention in my previous post, that I think this channel is fantastic. I follow it daily. Lanzarote had left a permanent impression on me. I'm completely in love with the place. I went walking to the top of Montana Roja evey morning before breakfast. We stayed at the hotel Labranda which was wonderful. Maybe the best memories of any holiday I've been on. God, I want to live there so badly.

We felt the same 25 years ago, which was when we moved here. Best decision we ever made.

I need to make it happen. However, as a result of Brexit etc it's going to be very difficult.

I stayed in Playa Blanca two months ago. I completely fell in love with the place. I want to live in Lanzarote so so much. I've just retired at the age of 50 and desperately want to live on this beautiful Island. I currently live on the Isle of Man. An Island but with awful weather.

The chicken and the take-away tapas in La Esquina really are delicious. Very reasonably priced too.

Hi Mike, Thanks for that, by the way the optician you walked passed is great. I bought some new sunglasses in Fund Grube and they put my prescription in them for about 50 quid less than the UK. Excellent service also. Looking forward to returning in April. Cheers

Love discovering the back streets. Bodega La Colonial is a great restaurant, didn’t make it on our last visit but hope to visit this year.

Hi Mike We often come to playa Blanca & stay within the Faro Park area & wondered if you knew what a was happening with the unfinished complex near the lighthouse it seems that people are living there now we did look to buy one of the villas at the time but never pursued it at that time thankfully! Also the Coral beach complex seems to be something happening there so don’t know if you could fill me in on what’s happening there too. We used to go to the sunset bar there. Thanks Mike Karen Fox

The uncompleted houses you’re talking about were in illegal build, and the court case surrounding them is close to being finalised, so we’ll know more about what will happen in the future. The units at Coral Beach are being sold off into private ownership.

It was very hot until yesterday - in the 30’s, but cooled down quite a bit to mid 20’s today, and some rain.

Social Club Lanzarote isn’t a “Kids Club”. It previous incarnation was The Hemporer, there’s a clue for you. 🤣

That swearing word we heard, I don’t think it was used as such. In Spanish that word (starting with J that translates to the swearing English word starting with F) is use as a sign of frustration or annoyance. For example, I can’t seem to be able to open this window, j…. Or I just spilled wine on my shirt, j… In English we may say I can’t seem to be able to open this window, damm it It is important to understand the nuances of the language.

Yes, I know, I speak Spanish. The point, which you’ve obviously missed, is that anyone who doesn’t, and translates the word, might not know the “nuances of the language.”
Ай бұрын
@@LanzaroteInformationIn that case instead of saying “Apologies for the swearing!”, you could have said: a swearing word spoken but in this context is not actually swearing but rather annoyance at something. What she was annoyed at is her business but I don’t think she was swearing.

I really can’t take this comment seriously. If you honestly think 17 words does a better job than 4, in a tiny, insignificant part of the video, you have far too much time on your hands and you take pedantry to the next level. My advice is that you should stop watching our videos and start making your own. With your attention to insignificant detail, you’re sure to be very successful.
