There will still be construction on 5th but from benito juarez to about 8th street, it is mostly finished with some slight finishing needed.

Looks like it’s going to be a while. Maybe February or March till it’s all done. But it will be amazing once it’s finished. I’m excited to go back in the next couple years sometime.

Yeah most likely the middle of next year would be my guess. Should look really nice once they get some more trees planted to add shade to 5th avenue. Thanks for watching.

Esa zona va a quedar muy bonita con el tipo de piso que se le esta colocando, Pero si llegan a pasar vehículos sobre el adoquín lo van a hundir y a quebrar, eso sucedió en el centro histórico de una ciudad acá en el norte, tuvieron que levantar todo el piso, compactar de nuevo la tierra y colocar cemento con mortero para una fijación mas sólida. Se va a ver excelente esa zona de playa del carmen.

Hello, I've been here since October and plan to stay for a few months. I've been coming here for many years, but due to the pandemic, this is the first time I've visited in about a year so things have certainly changed. I currently live in Florida but call Playa as my second home. There are a few places where it totally looks chaotic but the progress is coming along.

@@kahunawithak334 We are watching things here at home with Covid and hoping things get better right now we are a bit crazy...we love that area and really hope we can make it...enjoy your time there the people are amazing and how can you not love looking out at that water!! Do you know if the Keel restaurant on 8th at the beachside is open and operational?...my favourite place!!..ice cold beer!!...Viv

@@darrellvivianpeters6631 I have not been to the Keel but I can walk by there and check it out. I mainly hang out at Fusion bar on 6th st and the beach. Great atmosphere and I highly recommend you give it a try when you're down here.

This was taken Wednesday Dec. 2nd. That day was forecasted to rain and it did but only for about 10 minutes but as you can see it was nice and sunny most of the day. The forecasts down here from reputable weather channels seems so far off for some reason.
