I was 11 years old when this music video first came out. As a result, I remember they used to perform on BET Planet Groove back in the days. This is legit R&B music better than today bull crap. I wish to rewind back to those good ol times.

This is actually the first time i'm hearing more of Static his vocals. On a lot of songs i've heard he raps or just sang in the same tone. Too bad he didn't sang on more songs like he did on this one!

This was the song that got me really hooked into listening to them. Then "Cheers 2u after". This trio got SOUL!! I got the one and only album that they've put out. It's sad that they've never had the opportunity to make a 2nd album. If they did it would've been just a 🔥 like the first! Sadly it never came to be. They're one of the MANY groups that not only shaped the 90's but made an impact imo. Rip Static/Major 🙏!

This was a time when R&B artists were allowed to sing and showcase their vocals like true R&B artists...in and out of the studio. They weren't limited to a "poppy" sound on the radio and then come out of their shells only on black award shows (where they acted more like fools than anything). Nowadays, R&B singers like Usher, Brandy, MJB (I love them all) sing in a more edited manner for radio and top 40, but will give that live R&B performance. I think it's whack!!! I love this old stuff.

That's false! He wrote 10 tracks for her LAST album and 15 in total for that era (with Aaliyah as the lead artist).

Yep...from '95 I was truly "feelin" Timbaland's vybe... some of those joints (like this) were totally irresistable to me. Just wish he would go back to writing and producing the music that would put us "heads" right in the zone. Yeah...keep your big-buck pop-machine rollin.., while still creating irresistable, melodic, groovalicious Timbafonk.... sound like plan?

I better not hear anyone say Lamar from BMF brought them here. This is a Can't Stop The Rain, sample, but yeah...don't be the person that asks if the songs sound similar? Yes...it's a sample.
