What I LOVED about Static is that I simply asked him to be a part of this "Jammiversary" show and he didn't hesitate to say "yes" ! This was the first show that I was responsible for getting produced and it started my tradition of booking local acts to open ! - Mark Gunn. Louisville's B-96.5

Always likes the Song Cheers to You back in the day. Never realized how good they sound live because I never saw footage. KZbin showed me that I slept on them. They should of at least been as big as Jodeci and boyz ii men in my opinion.

He was the mastermind . I worked with him when he was writing . His vocals for his artists were insane . These were just roughs . He basically mixed his own vocals moving all around the mic in the booth. Always in key.. wrote Aaliyah etc etc .. genius. Humble, genuine. I miss him

Yeah they should've have won a reward. The song is extremely beautiful, soulful and warm. Like a perfect wedding song. Unfortunatedly, they were so unnoticed due to other artists during their time having supreme limelight (Aaliyah, Missy, Janet Jackson, Net, 112, Jagged Edge and so many others) and that's just R&B. They were sooo sooo underrated and the second they were about to be exposed to the mainstream media, Static passed away at such a young age and the group just kind of took 100 steps backwards. Sad

They SANG not sing. Super soulful. Kentucky is low key but has never disappointed from The New Birth up to Bryson Tiller. Great musicians.
