They've always been a great company. Only played a few models, but always ha e they surprised with their quality. Canada's Fender, cause to call them their Gibson implies they have quality issues.

I think that was the case but coming into 2022 they raised all their prices by atleast 30%

Godin A6 could be bought a few years ago for under 1k now they are around 1600. Prices have really shot up like food store prices.

Got turned on to godin back in the mid nineties. First one was an exit 22. Wish they still made that model!

Nice Booth, never Bought a Godin but I am Really Like ING The Semi Hollow, All Godins made in Canada Still, Nice if they are? Lots of friends have like Godin but I have never got to even Play one but need a Semi Hollow BODY Bluesy Sounding Guitar, Maybe Next Guitar U guys rebuild or just give away could be a Godin?? I don't understand a headstock with the tuners on the bottom! They're on the top because it makes for easier tuning, why mess up a good thing just to be different?

For the 50 e anniversarie so they décide to reverse the head stock ,so the tuner when down ,!

It actually alters the tension on the strings which can be a good thing, the shorter high e will be a little softer to bend and the bass notes will have more authority because of the added length FWIW. Personally I like tuners on top always, don't want anything messing with my mind when it's time to play ;-)

@@christianboddum8783 I always thought the Jackson hockey stick headstock was a terrible design! Not only did it put the tuners on the side that's harder to reach, it even bends the strings at the nut instead of a straight shot to the tuner. Do they do that just to be different? What were they thinking? LOL!

@@christianboddum8783 "Hendrix Tone" aggressive Bass strings, and mellow, lush sounding treble side strings. This is a factor of a reverse headstock most fail to realize is very much a thing.
