Me too - although "You Don't Know This Man and You Don't Know A Thing" made me heavily recall KeKe Palmer, one of Niecy Nash's other co-players on a Ryan Murphy show

Omg I need an audio of her singing that! Tried to look it up!

It needs only seconds of hearing her sing in E4 to make me look for her! Awesome!

Obviously her voice is amazing, but holy smokes, the acting!! I can't believe she's only 23. She sings with the maturity of someone twice her age. You can really tell she has studied and internalized this part of a woman holding onto their dignity in the face of invasive press coverage.

A 10/10 soulful and heart-wrenching rendition from an amazing singer. BRAVO Micaela on an incredible performance!

It’s gut wrenching I don’t know how she sings this without crying
@mikeymummy Жыл бұрын
I think the reason why is because Micaela interpreted the song as angry because of the fact that they would have such a one sided view on someone they dont even know as well as Lucille knows Leo.

Mrs Micaela Diamond and Mr Ben Platt are both extraordinary. They inspire me to become the first poet artist and writer with Autism to win a Oscar Emmy Grammy Tony BAFTA SAGAFTRA and Golden Globe in March 2024 next year. I am 29 years old and I work for Mobileye in Jerusalem Israel.

You don't know this man You don't know a thing You come here with these horrifying stories These contemptable conceits And you think you understand how a mans heart beats And you don't know a thing You don't know this man You don't even try When a man writes his mother every Sunday Pays his bills before they're due Works so hard to feed his family There's your murderer for you And you stand there spittin' words That you know aren't true Then you don't know this man I don't think you could You don't have the right to know A man that wise and good He is a decent man He is an honest man And you don't know And you never will Not from me, not from anyone who knows him Not a morsel, not a crumb, not a clue I have nothing more to say to you

Unfortunately this is even better than the cast recording. I love it but her delivery is getting even better and the mixing on the voice is way better. The solo violin is even more inspired than the arrangement.

They should have picked this song for the Tony’s show than the other one.

Her voice is AMAZING! Absolutely perfect!!! But…. In my opinion… TOO perfect. Where is the anger, the desperation, sadness… the DISGUST!!!??? She gave some at the bridge but by seeing that glimpse, I know she has it in her… more in her….i want more anger, pain and FIGHT!! You have the notes… let that go and give in to the desperation of the situation…. But I may be biased. I feel like no one can beat the original Carolee Carmelo. I FELT her pain and anger just by listening to it. I can’t find a video of her performing it live. But yes this is a beautiful vocal performance. But I feel every cover I hear everyone is TOO focused on sounding “pretty” . This woman is about to loose her husband…Maybe cut off some of the ‘crescendo’…for example … “and you neeever wiilll…” cut it off. Like in a heated conversation. When you’re angry you’re not holding out a long “pretty” note… you’re telling them how you feel!! …This is a literal ARGUMENT through song…a plea of a desperate woman. I want to hear that, not a ballad . But yes beautiful and perfect vocals!!

I saw her last night and I gotta be honest, she was the WORST part of the show. Her voice is beautiful but her accent work reallllly needs help. She kept switching to British and a BUNCH of us audience members really struggled with it because it kept taking us out of the play. For MT to work, you need to have singing dancing and acting.
