nah they play with the multiplayer balance mod called lekmod, it changes rng dependant abilities like polders

My favorite session they played was the one where Lewis was Polynesia on a Pangea map with islands. Lewis immediately spread out to the islands and proceeded to spend much of the early game fighting pirates and leveling his navy. Pyrion was England in that session and about into the midgame he decided he was going to finally contest Lewis for title of 'Boat King' after spending the early game on the mainland. Pyrion's completely green Navy was annihilated by Lewis' veteran navy and he pretty much lost the war for the title of Boat King immediately. Lewis would go on to win a science victory and it took like three players ganging up on him to lose his sole mainland city. Unfortunately this session was one of the purged ones.

I love that civ is spelled wrong in the starting screen. Btw: the reason we in the Netherlands are orange is because one of the most important people in creating our independence from Spain (William of orange) was the prince of orange (a city in France) and therefore had orange as their family colour, his descendants are still the royal family today

Duncan apparently doesn't know - If you build a monument and then pick tradition, you get a free amphitheater instead. (once you unlock them, ofc) I once got a free amphitheater in 2 of my cities lol

Worked at a Crumbl for two years, Daltos is right on the money. They're getting in trouble for labor law violations, I personally was never granted an official lunch break. Told to take a break when it's "chill" but i was working there when it was "viral". Working up front at one of the more popular locations, queue ticket timer went for hours. Ruined a lot of people's day...

It's a shame most of the players are too caught up in the 'best plays'. Many of them have several city locations but they won't take them because they're not 100% optimal. Eg: Some of them can fit 4 cities on their starting islands!
