Man, I love BMR. Some really brilliant calls on both teams this game. *Spoilers:* The gambit choosing Jacqui and hoping someone would push on her was absolutely amazing to watch. I thought the play was dead in the water, but Alex came to his rescue. Such a bold move to protect yourself right after, too. I just loved how everything lined up for the evil team plays. Even having an evil Goon executed for a double claim. So good.

@@BloodontheClocktower Out of curiosity, what is the ruling on “this statement is false” type gossips?

Logically, "this statement is false" cannot be true, since if it were true, it would be false. Since the Gossip's ability kills if the statement is true, which it isn't, then the ability won't kill. In practice, it's a game and up to the group how they'd respond. The last game I played, our Gossip's first statement was "I am the Gossip" and they were promptly executed for making such a suspiciously pointless statement.

Great game to watch. I can’t help feeling bad for Maggot though. I felt like Ben was very forceful in his arguments whereas Maggot was a bit quieter. While I think Ben is quite justified in celebrating his victory, I guess it leaves a slightly bad taste in my mouth that it comes at the expense of another player frustrated that they werent listened to. Any thoughts Ben? Just part of the game? I’m curious if you had a chat with Maggot afterwards

a player not being listened to is how many social deduction games go. The game encourages lying and by the time the game was half way through Ben had more proof he was tea lady so he was trusted more. I understand the frustration but its part of the game that sometimes you can be ignored simply because someone played a great game

I second that. As well the losing team is likely to be frustrated about something you just have to try and have fun anyways. Maggot was claiming tea lady and the evil team easily found out. Jt never openly claimed it until pretty late.
