Player Types: Role-players and Attention Hogs

Being a neurotipical DM (as far as I know), I really enjoyed the tips you gave. I have some neurodivergent players and being honest, I'm not the best of keeping track of how to cater to everybodies needs.

I don't really know what I call myself as a player archetype. I make weaker characters and I don't make level up choices that are optimal, in favor of stuff that's thematically appropriate like my Cold sorcerer not having fireball. I like being more of a garnish for the story rather than the focus, and idly enjoy the story that the other players are creating and being a supportive cast member. A story enabler? I bite the obvious hooks just to see what the DM was wanting to do with it.
