Also, I think this was the patch Scopely originally intended to give us the 5,000 cores (and I think they gave another 1,000 since then). So, it is possible the events were balanced around those cores. Regardless, Scopely gave players the influx of cores needed for these events this patch.

Even it is balanced for the cores they gave players, it's tone deaf to call this a player appreciation event and make players spend premium currency to complete it.

The real problem with this event is that Nakia’s event is not overlapping with this one. If they overlapped, spending 200 cores per day should be a non-issue.

That would actually be worse, as the campaign energy for nakia wouldn't count. The points are calculated based on the normal campaign energy you spend. So coring for nakia's event wouldn't do a thing.

So basically Thanosgiving all over again... this is why I let this game go. Scopley doesn't care about anything other then money. All they do is talk, no follow through.

Expecting anything good from this company is like expecting a dog to not want to eat your food This is a trash event with trash rewards. But prob in line with that they think of a "salute"

Should be changed to "A Salute To You Filthy Commanders"
