@@McMole2MSF edit - Someone said they opened half of them in 4 hours until their hands got to tired to continue. I think I did about 1,000 of each. I was doing other stuff too, but I think that was in about an hour. If you use the 10x, you can’t spam it like when you do 1X opening because the button placements. Also; you will have lag at times and have to wait for the orbs to open.

i feel like these are "accidental screw ups" and are just easy money for them to make. i am going to end up buying it tho...cant pass this up

The g14 bottleneck should have loosened up 2 years ago and gone away completely a year ago. Likewise, g15 should have eased up a year ago, and should have gone away completely now. We all know this, and we say this all the time. The only two things players should be upset is (1) every time Scopely make a mistake, the players are the ones who pay the price for it and (2) Scopely failed to correctly update the gear economy the last few years at the appropriate times.

I think what you propose here is really the only equitable solution. I do, however, fear the tightening of other bottlenecks to ensure they get their pound of flesh regardless. I've found myself wondering in the last week or so whether the new release standard apparently being brought in with ZIM is at all connected with the Lady Thor giveaway this past summer. Anyway, I agree with your suggestion of how they should go forward.

Well... Now they have to push faster for lvl 100 and above to implement G18 and above (already teased in the scourge difficulties)... That way they can set up the next bottleneck.. Which already started with G17 and iso blue lvl 4

They did roll it back temporarily. They took all of my G14 & 15 orbs...I took a screen shot of my roster and sent it to them with a screen shot of the offer right after I made the purchase. I almost think that these, "screw ups" are intentional. How does this help the true bottlenecks? Why does this help players that are already spending money? How does it help players that are spending money to be competitive? I would still need catalysts, gold, training mats, ions, uniques.....this isn't a 20$ offer that alleviated a crunch. It's a way for us to forget that we need pieces to G14 & 15 gear that these orbs don't offer. It's a way to trick the "gambling" or "addicted" side, this is probably getting them more money.

This is a blunder that will benefit Scopely in the long run, which just feels bad. They should not be rewarded for screwing up. I agree that most players will need to get this, because not getting it means you are that much further behind all the players who do get it. Terrible.

So it could be intentional with Alliances disbanding.... it pulls some people back in, who are contemplating leaving the game. It kinda makes you think you have an edge with A LONG TERM ADVANTAGE.... that makes one think, that they have an advantage as long as they keep playing. Yes, it devalues something in the game, but it could be a strategic move to keep people playing.... because if they KEEP PLAYING, atleast some will KEEP PAYING. Plus they get perks from our time spent on the game and on their website. So in a way, this could be a sacrifice they made to lock some in for playing long term. It really could go either way.

Well.. anecdotally I've had one quit the game this morning... this being their last straw. I do not believe this was an intentional screw up. They may have player retention in mind with their solution for it, but I feel they're just plain incompetent. Or perhaps an insider is sabotaging them. This isn't a transposed letter k>M... presumably someone had to add several zeroes inside the code as well for that quantity of frags to actually show up. It's not as simple as an art issue. What I do know with some certainty is that many people are getting fed up with their "world class experience" of Scopely's empty promises.

I completely disagree with you McMole. It's not like F2p's always rank at Top-10. (Although they could stay at Top 1-3% in any mode with enough time put into it). Spenders are always going to stay on top, but F2Ps are supposed to do/see the same content that a spender does within 6-8 months right !! + This game is still tagged under the "Free to play" category in the Play store, not under a minimum pay category. So how come we are accepting an offer which almost flips the balance of one bottleneck?? Does this mean, we are giving Scopely the right to monetize each and everything it likes with zero consequences for them? But forever ruining the in-game economy for the all players (who are playing this game- in past, in present & in the future??)
