Portugal are doing everything to get jose mourinho as a national head coach which in itself is not that surprising. But the offer they are proposing to jose and roma is an offer that if it happens it will be brand new in football history. They want jose to be Portugal head coach as a part time job with roma. Meaning jose will still stay at roma and continue the project there and at every international break he will go and manage Portugal for qualifiers and tournaments like euros and WC. This is crazy. This is stuff you only see on Fifa. And apparently roma and jose are not against the idea. Roma are actually heading to Portugal for friendly games there and the Portugal federation are planning a meeting with roma board . If that happens it will be an insane situation to manage because during international break club managers still have a crazy amount of work to do with the board and the players that didn't get called up. I guess jose has always been very ambitious and this would definitely be his most ambitious project to date.

Including those three finals, he had six opportunities to win trophies, and took advantage of three. To me, Andres Iniesta played 24 games for Vissel Kobe in 2022, and had only two goals and two assists. That should be the disappointment of the year at 38 years of age.

Alexander isak was injured for like half the time since he joined Newcastle and couldn't join the nation league squad in October due to his injury. He was gone for like something like 72 days which is something like 2 and half months. Being injured and not being able to play it's not his fault he missed half the season so far. Brewster has had injury problems with us tbf. Last season it finally clicked for him and he got injured ruled him out for the whole season. Then this season he was slowly getting fit and ready looking good off bench. Then it was time to start kicking on and he barely even ran and pulled his hamstring again. Injured before World Cup started, sent home from Qatar by Luis Enrique (in spite of the injury being so minor that it was suggested he might have even been fit enough to start Spain's first game in the group stage, but worst case scenario he would have missed just one game. Replaced in the squad with a 19 year old who plays most of his games for Barcelona B in the Spanish third division. Pretty tough on him.
