Since we are in the topic of harsh truths here's some for you:- Troy Parrot after all the Irish media hype is currently a 21 year old championship striker who has scored two goals for Preston all season same amount as Blackpool's Charlie Patino who is a 19 year old central midfielder. Despite all the Irish hype, Gavin Bazanu has the worst save Percentage in the Premier league at 57.3% and in terms of xG conceding 6 goals more than expected. Serie A side Cremonese hadn't won a single Serie A game this season, this month they have beaten Jose Mourinho's Roma Twice.

Smith Rowe is a curious one. He had ten goals last season. Ten! His dynamism and creativity are of a more direct quality than Arsenal's other playmakers, namely Ødegaard and Fabio Vieira. If he can put a stretch in where he stays fit, he'll give Arteta some selection headaches... But he's got his work cut out for him, because Trossard does a lot of the same things he does, and between that and Martinelli, his most productive position (LW) is incredibly overstocked.

tbh the real uncomfortable truth for Newcastle is that it could all still go to shit. Winning the League Cup would've unambiguously kickstarted the glory years at St. James but they're now left in a position where they could be facing years of Europa League mediocrity and no actual silverware - like Spurs with a bigger budget.

Exactly. We absolutely crumbled last season when we lost some starters to injury. That Smith rowe opinion is a horror take, he transformed the team when he was bought in around the halfway mark of the 20/21 season. He was one of Arsenal's best players last season but has struggled with injury since around the second half of last season. He's played several seasons carrying an injury which he only had surgery to fix this season. He's incredibly versatile and is a quality option to have off the bench, or even start if he could somehow force his way into the eleven.

Irish Guy does not seem to know that winning the EUROPA LEAGUE gets you into the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE regardless of your league finish! In fact most teams usually prefer this cuz you get a Trophy and Entry into the UCL. Edit: Poch messed that up with MBAPPE and Messi and Neymar. DO NOT COMPARE THEM. And that PSG losing the team to Monaco that year was literally because of MBAPPE! What was he to do?????? He was so good they had to BUY HIM to beat him. Harshness level For Arsenal: Here's a darker one... They are TERRIBLE at selling talent. Emile Smith-Rowe is just one more semi-redundant cog. But I think he can be of use if an injury plague arises. 6/10 For AV: They're ambitious enough to want to reach Europa League. So Emery is not a bad pick at all. 5/10 For Bournemouth: The board has no effin idea of what they're doing. I'd worry first about expanding Dean Court a bit, though. Even if that means spending 5 more years at the Championship. Still, 8/10 For Brentford: At least those were well-calculated risks and they probably can afford to try again with any other 25m+ signing... 4/10 For Brighton: I think they'll slowly become another Crystal Palace or Stoke with time before succumbing. But I think they can keep attracting interesting managers like De Zerbi. 5/10 For Chel$h1t: Hahahahaha!! That's called karma xD. The board now is unrealistically ambitious and now they can't even spend their bucks properly... And I think their fans are just the same. They don't seem to care enough about the domestic cups now. 7/10 For CP: I'd loathe being a Crystal Palace fan right now. They're a very well run club but have zero ambition. 10/10 For Everton: Their greatest flaw is their board, but the fans are absolutely no help. 9.5/10 For Fulham: I have to agree with you. They aren't consistent enough for Europa League or Conference. They may need an Emery or just start to pray for good luck. 8/10 For Leeds: That's sad. They have to promote themselves better... Or hope that some billionaire injects cash to attract someone interesting to coach there. That problem is one of those that you can't do too much, be it as a fan, a player or a board member. Maybe James Milner will become their next coach and make then become a new gegenpressing icon. Still, I'd qualify that truth as a 8.5/10 For Leicester: Too bad Vardy's body has given up on him. That's sad AF. I really like the guy. 10/10 For Liverpool: Ha!! You had to jinx it! I know the front line may look overbooked, but Cody is just fitting there like a glove right now. Who knows if Klopp normalizes the 4-2-4 or 4-2-3-1 from here and the front 4 of Jota (or Diaz) / Darwin / Gakpo / Salah skyrockets from here... I'm feeling optimistic. -10/10 For Man-$h1tty: If the worst is going to happen, I'd only feel bad for Guardiola, De Bruyne, Gundogan and Agüero. But the rest are of no meaning for me (and Foden can rebuild his career in other team or even better, be the shining beacon on City's future return to the Prem). Sterling's trophy cabinet can rot in hell, though. 5/10 For ManU: Hahahahahahahahaha... But seriously. Give Ten Hag some more time and confidence and they WILL get another prem trophy by 2026. 6/10 For Newcastle: That would only hurt if you have been a fervent fan for 15+ years. For them that would be a 12/10. But more modern fans would not notice any difference... That's kinda sad if you think about it. Let's see how it plays out, but for now, that's a 5/10 for me. For Nottingham F: They need some serious help to rebuild. It is a slow process without the funding of a Sheikh. They're in the same situation of Leeds... But worse. 9/10 For Soton: They need to modernize their academy ASAP. That's the basis of a good, healthy club. I think they can recover with the right board... For now I think it is a 8/10 For Spurs: 15 years of being a meme club must hurt... But all streaks are meant to be broken, so I'd give that harsh truth a 7/10 For West Ham: They need new owners ASAP. Moyes IS a good manager, but if I were him, I'd just quit after the season ends and wait for another job. 6/10 For Wolves: Uhhh... So what? That's hardly a "painful" stat if you ask me. 0/10

Still early to call Gakpo a flop, he could just take some time to stablish himself in the Liverpool forward line. But, in case he turns out a bad signing, which is possible, I still doubt he'd be a worse flop than Ciro Immobile at Dortmund. He might be more like a Minamino kind of signing. Not that great, but did a decent job in cup competitions and helped the team reach a couple of finals. What has he got against Brighton 💀?
@BS-uj3ny Жыл бұрын
Gakpo has been at Liverpool for literally two months and he has two goals in 6 games but yea he's a worse flop than Naby Keita or Oxlade-Chamberlain lol

Forest problems were past boards Irving Scholar for example stripping a team that just got promoted

that gakpo take might be his worst ever given Ox, keita and karius (all who failed to live up to expectation)

Man i respect you but comparing ESR to tea-bag footballers like Joe Willock and Alex Iwobi is a sackable offence.

I think that Brighton will be able to stay up, they have some amazing young talent, if they spend wisely they can become a true premier league team

Totally wrong about ESR last season he was our best scorer and carrying the team with saka this season he is injured from the start did not play yet they decide get ride of a problem he has for yearssssss with groin injury maybe this season is a waste but will be back at his best for sure no sense for Emile!!

Deluded reply. We literally went trophyless that season. Raise your standards already. "Carrying" a team doesn't mean anything if that teams goes trophyless.

@@BubblesChika ouhh stupid reply you can carry a team even if you dont win a trophy, you can see a player carry a team out of relegation, or to be in the champions you don't carry a team only when you win a trophy this is so stupid comment. yes ESR and Saka 21/22 have carry the arsenal team saying does it mean you had a succesfull season no but they did carry us to where we end up without them that season it would have been worse soo maybe you should first understand, and my standard impretty sure for this football club are higher than yours, thanks and have a nice day!!
