As a long-time pokémon fan, Legends was a major step in the right direction. Gameplay wise, Legends is the best in years. Scarlet and Violet should have built on that, but they took 2 steps backwards instead lol I even prefer the art style of Legends to S/V. I'm so glad they're continuing the Legends series, and hopefully, they improved upon it.

I thought s/v had a nice balance of a traditional pokemon game and a legends arceus. Yeah it was a traditional game but it was pure exploration .

@@mariowalker9048 Yeah, but there was nothing in the overworld to find. The wild pokémon didn't react as well either. It felt like they attempted some legends aspects but it didn't really work out to me. I didn't think the open world was even necessary.

I may be wrong in saying this but I thought I heard they were both being developed around the same time to test the waters with the new mechanics and gameplay so that if one had a bad reaction they had the other game. Also to get a feel for any feedback they'd want from both games to put into newer games

Nah lil bro, performance needs to be playable, and it was so rough I couldn’t even enjoy it to get to the point where I could meet cute character and cool monsters. Idc about graphics as much but man you have to at least make it playable enough to where it doesn’t make some people sick due to the amount of stutter. It’s ok to criticize or if you prefer, give critique constructively. Never rest on your laurels, game shouldn’t just be good enough, the Japanese love to strive for the best they can do or when in a team the best it can be and when you have a franchise as beloved as Pokémon, frankly it was a bit embarrassing how poorly the game ran and it marred their reputation.
