Driver San Francisco is the best part of the series. Great story, lots of great vehicles, even with dashboard views, and of course the brilliant "shifting" into the vehicles! Plus lots of traffic and pedestrians. I still enjoy playing on the PC with mods and ReShade. 🥰 It's just a shame that this part is no longer available for purchase due to licensing reasons, so a remaster is probably out of the question. ☹

The Driver series is simply wonderful! so underestimated and overshadowed by GTA in a very unfair way! It delivered large open worlds in a way that few have done to date. I love these games, I played and beat them all! and I'm happy to see a video on KZbin celebrating this legacy, and so many other comments from people who, like me, knew how to enjoy a game that was revolutionary in each edition!

I mean driver 3 nearly put the whole game series into non existence, down to the fact that the management at ATARI had delusions that it could compete with the juggernaut that is gta so they released it way before it was finished and that is a shame because the concept of driver 3 and the maps are pretty decent....just a completely broken game. Parallel lines at least rectified the situation and san Francisco is a gem of a game that didn't get the attention it deserved.

For me personally Driver 2 was and will always be my ALl Time Favorite. Driv3r 2004 and Driver : San Francisco 2011 was a back to memory game. 🔥🔥 The graphics were amazing on the 2011 one. Thats the last one I played.

I remember trying driver 2 for the first time ever at a friends in which it was my first racing game experience ever too. Was so amazed you could get out and jump into other cars then came gta 3 which changed everything. I remember being bummed out that I couldn’t get driver 2 for pc at the time and as left with the first driver game.

Driver San Francisco is still one of the most fun games ever made... Plain and simple. Playing tag on multiplayer is still some of the best and most fun times I've ever had playing a video game... Unfortunately I knew the game was doomed because of all the licensing issues, That's the problem with having real license cars in your game. I wish someone would make a copy cat version of that game with the same dynamics of being able to switch into any other car, focus mostly on the multiplayer aspect with the same game modes of racing,cop chase, follow the leader,and especially tag. I would play that game all the time.
