I think Szobo is a good Henderson replacement as a box to box, I don’t think he has enough final pass or shot ability to be the 10. Unfortunately Harvey Elliott is made of weetabix so it’s probably a position they need to look at strengthening in the summer.

Haha you might be a LFC fan but you don’t know football. Anyone that watches Szobo knows he’s playing out of position. He’s at his best when he comes in from the left. He is world class for Hungary and was for both RB teams when he played that LAM / LW position. At LFC he plays as a right sided CM. Just not where he should be at. Period. To say Jones is better than him is laughable and you want to sell him at only 2 seasons? STFU 😂

Ask a Hungarian if Szobo has been poor for the national team. The answer is no. He always shines. It’s about position and system. Everyone knows (or should know) he is best in a LAM or LW position. Not a right sided CM.

Regardless though, given that this is personality amd opinion driven content the thumbnail just being stock player photos doesn't do it justice. Maybe in this example a pic of Dougie holding a bit of paper saying Sobozali (spelled correctly) with a red dislike thumb. Get across that its opinion content, who the opinion is from and then at least one elememt thats going to be featured - probably a controvertial one to drive engagement. Might not be groundbreaking ideas here but I follow several football things so my eyes just glide straight off stock player photos. I want to easilly know if its a subject I want to hear about and/or a person who's opinion I care about

No it isn't. He doesn't do the basics well enough. Gives the ball away cheaply in dangerous areas. Cant make simple passes. Hasn't got a clue what to do when he gets near the oppositions box. Compare to the impact Gravenberch and McAllister has he's miles off. Please tell me the last time he had a really good 90 minutes. It was 12 months ago. He's had decent spells in games but most games he's the first player you want changed.

Szobo is simply out of position. It’s so clear. For both RB teams and for Hungary he’s world class. Why? Bc he plays as a LAM in a 4231 or a LW in a 433. At LFC 1) he never suited Klopps system. And 2) under Slot he is being played as a right sided CM. The hate is unreal. He’s a total workhorse on the pitch. Sure his numbers aren’t there but you can’t ignore the shifts he puts in when he’s on the pitch.
