A poor week. Odegaard was a horrible pick as a Saka replacement in GW18. Probably my biggest mistake of the season, and now an emergency sell in GW21.

Yeah, I wasn’t convinced by his stats as he has played a lot deeper the last 2 seasons. Gordon and Mbeumo are way better as they have consistent goal and assist threat and are both on set pieces (Gordon is on corners when Trippier is out, and Mbeumo is on pens)

Decided to use my free hit chip as 3 of my players were suspended, but it has payed off massively and gotten me to top 18k. An Erling Haaland punt and great performances from Huijsen, Mbeumo, and Gordon has lead me to 56 points with 4 players remaining, including a captained Salah. Unfortunately Kepa was benched so I missed out there, and I sold Kerkez for Milenkovic last minute. Hopefully he’ll get a return against Wolves thogh.

I got rid of Mbeumo in GW 14 also , to get Saka, who blanked 4x and got hurt. You got in early on Isak so the damage must be minimal. The Saka move basically cost me 300k to 1 million because I had to sell Gvardiol to make it work too.

I remember you saying that Mbeumo is fixture proof but the underlying stats are horrible and hence you want to sell him. I also sold him in GW14 but it looks like he is now comfortable in his new position. xGI'23-24 = 15.37, xGI'22-23 = 15.1, xGI'24-25 = 10.88 so far. Looks like we can get him in GW25 as he looks set to touch 200 pts this season.

Glad Haaland's back! I took -12 hits to sell Gabriel and upgraded Enzo to Mbeumo (and gamble on some cheap defenders, hopefully ahead of the curve e.g. Neco William). Am sticking with Mbeumo+Pedro for the long haul instead of Isak+Enzo combo, paid off handsomely so far

Yeah, once schar is back he will drop to the bench, he will need atleast 5 games on the bench or more to get back to full fitness because he got a big injury last year came back fit and got injured again, Newcastle must not rush him because he was soo crucial to Newcastle in their top 4 season​@@tristanwhite8167
