You’re completely right but somehow it’s always felt that way to me. Logically of course the rockets win they obviously do I know that. But internally it just feels like they’d find a way to lose. I can’t comprehend Harden and CP winning a title for some reason. I know they’re great but I’m so conditioned to seeing something go wrong somewhere and it doesn’t happen. My brain knows it’s dumb but inside I feel like SOMETHING would happen and they wouldn’t pull it off.

With a healthy cp3 then yeah id guve the edge to the rockets, but with the actual circumstances then the cavs def had a wayyyyyy better shot against beating the rockets.

If MJ doesn't retire in '93....I think the Bulls DO win the first series against the Rockets....Yes Olajuwon was a PROBLEM....but two things : - It's a SERIES, not a game here and a game there....with all of the adjustments that go with it....the regular season has bearing - yes - but the postseason is a different animal. - It was the Rockets first Finals, and I think they would have had an adjustment period, and the Bulls were a battle hardened team...and EVERY team that makes it's first appearance says that it's way different from the rest of the playoffs.
