Melo has one thing wrong. It was not Mark Jackson who had him running off screens... it was Steve Kerr's offense that unlock that back court... Mark Jackson offense was that old school iso ball that placed way too much pressure the back court... Steve Kerr took over and it was his offense that unleashed both Curry and Klay... also under Kerr, Curry no longer got a pass on not making an effort on defense...

Steph was amazing that year. He had 44 and 11 against the Spurs team that went to the finals in Game 1 of the semi’s where they lost in double OT. They were the only Western Conference team that didn’t get smacked by them in the playoffs. In my mind they could have won the series if they won that game.
