Yeah, but can they read a playbook? Do they know how to read defenses? Do they know their Xs and Os? The thing i hate the most about the elite 11 is that there's so much emphasis on physical talent (who is faster, stronger, does the drills better, throws a better spiral etc.) and not enough on the mental aspect of the game. I want to see the breakdown of how each of these players prep for a game. Physical talent will only take these kids so far. Preparation is the key. They need to know that if the NFL is their goal. Why not start now? The point is we all have seen some of the best and most physically tallented kids amount up to nothing in the NFL simply becaue they can't process a playbook.

Lol how much you wanna bet these kids will be out of college quicker than they were in high school? The last time i check, they dip for the NFL with 2-3 years of college eligibility left. My point is these are our potential future NFL QBs and it is not bad at all to learn the mental aspect of the game as early as possible. By the time college comes around, most players already developed habits that are hard to change. Plus, we're talking about guys that are playing a position where physical talent is not entirely significant. At the highest level, only preparation and good work ethics will make them the best.

@@joelbrusnahan9894 I think you're completely missing my point. Please go back and read. These guys have up 3-5 years college eligibility but they leave for the draft most after year 2 or 3. That was my comment for James above when he said they'll learn in college. Can you say they'll really learn when they leave college faster than high school? You mention talent but reading playbook, understanding defenses (which dominates QB play btw) is also a talent that can be honed. Why not have a session on that as well? That's what matters at the end of the day. Physical talent is a plus for the qb postion but it not necessary. If the depth isn't there then why not have sessions on that? That was the point.
