I just finished a Terra Magic scarf (I ADORE that stitch!) and was getting ready to start another Magic stitch, but then I remembered seeing this fun looking stitch. I have started it and am using Loops and Threads Charisma Black Raspberry - yum. It is looking terrific. I'm getting my 2020 stash going for shelters so these easy but beautiful stitches really are a tremendous help. Thanks for sharing. Gorgeous stitches.

This is going to be my number 1 go-to stitch from now ON! It’s easy and works up FAST! Doing a shawl in the diamond lattice stitch but I’m about to do the body in this stitch and finish the end with the diamond lattice stitch because it’s going too SLOW! Thank you!

Love the stitch and thank you for sharing. Have you done another video with this where you have shared the type of yarn and how you put the blanket together. I have done lots of hats and scarves; I would really like to do a blanket on the loom. Thank you.

I just started a Valentine's scarf using this method following the video, and the one for casting on it's going really fast and I can already see what the scarf is going to look like, it's a tri-colored bulky yarn red, white and pink (first time using the loom). I'm thinking about after casting off stitching the ends together with some embroidery thread to make it an infinity style scarf... any other suggestions to bond the ends together so they are seamless? - other videos I saw stitching together seemed to leave an obvious seam so I think weaving the two ends together with the thread might make the seam look hidden in the puffy blanket type yarn I'm using but I'm open to other ideas. I might also find a way to add some heart accents to it with the embroidery thread if I go that route... kind of winging it. I wanted a stitch which I could do while watching TV mostly Christmas movies where I won't mess up not paying attention, I think it I can keep tract if I'm on 3's or 1's should be fine. :) Also, it's cold here in Wisconsin so I think I'm going to make a few with the thickest and softest yarn for the negative temp months, and if those turn out I'll probably do some sleeker looking ones like the one in the video for transitional seasons, Fall and Spring

I want to make a hat like this too. If you do the 3 on last peg and continue to the 1st peg, would you do 2 or 3 on the 1st peg? O maybe something different than that? New to doing different stitches on the loom. Thanks for this stitch and your help.

you would be changing stiches n the round, so you will have a jog at the first peg. So you can see which looks the best there. i would try a few ways to see which looks the best.

Wow, another one to do. What is on your lap and have you done a video for it? A round 10 stitch?
@DeborahShaw5 жыл бұрын
I have the pattern for that in my Ravelry shop.
@thehippiewhowasnt42385 жыл бұрын
If I do this in the round, would each peg be done three times for 1 round and one time on the next round? Thinking about using this for a hat.
@DeborahShaw5 жыл бұрын
yes thats how you would do it. You would have a jog where you changed the stiches so maybe on the first peg do an extra stitch to minimize it.
@donnaoeding69555 жыл бұрын
Love this ! How many pegs would say is good for a scarf ? Can it be done on a round loom ? I am new to looming thanks you

You can use one of bulky on this same gauge loom. if you use one of worsted on a wide gauge it would be too loose but would be fine on a 1/2" or 3/8" gauge.

Ive tried this stitch 3times,the stitch is fine but im finding one end is not straight..so im doing three stitches then two and one to come back for the uwrap and thts the end that isnt straight..so my right end isnt straight
@DeborahShaw3 жыл бұрын
the ends each have a total of 3 stitches on them two one way and one coming back so they should be even, since they are the same. They were on every one i did. it may be that you are much tighter on one end in some way.
