Rick Graham, love this lesson. It actually rides alongside a Holdsworth lesson I was messing with, how to think in terms of 3 or 4 lines at once, but much more unorthodox chords shapes, as one would expect from him.

Clapton tip at the end. In that song he plays Blue Moon melody over the riff in intro solo. What a trip! Anyway, wow Rick. So clean, reminds me of harpsichord, less of guitar. That staccato feel, very tight! Love it and the counterpoint is silly good

Hope you are doing extremely well Rick. All your lessons are truly awesome. I always wanted to have a better idea about writing Counterpoint harmonies. Now I have an idea of how to make my melodies sound a lot better, instead of searching for notes in darkness. Thank you for bringing in light and ending the dark ages like the Industrial Revolution in Great Britain!
