@@themysticclan9777 I've been watching poker blogs for a while now, this is just my opinion so far. 1. Brad Owen- The G.O.A.T 2. Andrew Neeme, in danger of falling to 3rd. Need better content, those P.L.O vid's aren't working. Stick to No limit and the losing streak needs to change. 3. Mariano- arguably soon to take over 2nd place, if Neeme doesn't find favorable material to keep him in the top spot. 4. Lex O takes out Johnny Vibes, lack of content, again I watch blogs daily. Lex is consistent. 5. Close to broke- he is fierce and is always on the felt providing great content for the poker community. Notable mentions: Next Gen up and coming, Kyle Fischle, Ben Dench and Rude poker. These are just my opinions, please feel free to share your list.

That was a tough one. If I was him I would’ve ran it once because my hand is already capped. Also on top of that when someone asks you to run it twice you know you’re good and they are on a draw or hoping the board will pair. However, totally understand why Mariano agreed to it. The variance is on his side as well with the logic I just used. So it’s basically a free roll. Completely makes sense.

Mariano is one of the best poker vloggers on KZbin, easily. If not THEE best. I like watching HIM the best because he possesses higher level thought than most people, which I appreciate. That said, I semi-disagree with one of his opinions in this video: The hand at 8:00, when he has AA, and he's analyzing what to do on the river. He said he greatly prefers a check in this spot, bluff catching, and I do understand his reasoning. HOWEVER, two factors, in MY mind, indicate his river-action SHOULD be a lead-out for a bet: 1.) She 4-bet preflop. This will move her far-up into her range, on average. She will have over-pairs to a 10 high flop a considerable portion of the time when 4-betting. And, if those over-pairs don't have a heart, they will play (generally) exactly how she played this hand (on the flop/turn.) 2.) She CHECKED the turn. This indicates one of two things -> A) She has show-down value, implementing pot control. B) Or, she has TOTAL air. If she has TOTAL AIR, she is likely going to shut-it-down because Mariano (being the caller, preflop) is MUCH more likely to have two-pair or better on that run-out. Bluffing on TOTAL AIRBALLS is generally a terrible idea when the board smashes your opponents range, and it's TERRIBLE for YOUR range.

I love how even after one of your biggest wins you only want Chipotle! Stay humble my brother! I still want to meet up with you and Ethan for those beers! Keep up the good work.

Mariano, nice score well played. But running twice and "not caring" is a major mistake. It allows people to run speculative bluffs with draws against you, because they're mitigated from getting stacked by you giving them two chances to realise their equity. It's subtle but if you're known for running it once people won't make as moves like this one putting you in an incredibly tough spot with the rest of your range, like bottom set.

@@MarianoPoker fair enough - seems like EV down the drain. Might be slightly offset by keeping the game friendly, seeming like a good guy and getting invited to softer lineups though.

Smart to run it twice. Too bad you couldn't hold twice, but it is what it is. Great playing in these stakes Mariano!!!! Good luck on the next one.
