Took my shot at 25nl and It didnt go as planned. Ran into some crazy hands and didnt think my shot would be wasted down the drain like that. on to the next one...

first hand is really rough, sometimes recs get there, second hand is a very good barrel opportunity OTT, river might be a check fold, your hand actually has a bit of showdown value so might not be your best bluff candidate as you block most of the bluffs. third hand is just a cooler, not too much to do about it, 5% is 5%. fourth hand is a little loose to 3! pre, your stack size is a little weak to bluff OTR, SPR is a little weird to jam OTR. Last hand is also just a cooler given positions

500 hands and you ran into it big time. Those could have easily all gone the other way. Only potential peice of advice is that you dont always have to blast off with the ace high flush draws when people at 25NL are usually a little more stationay than the higher stakes. Could go with smaller turn sizings too to setup river shoves if you hit and potentially shut down on bad rivers.

You should play in a live poker tournament rather than online tournament. The problem with online tournament in general is that there are too many loose players playing mediocre hands, and getting lucky! I would stick with the micro cash games online and go from there. But you've been playing your hands correctly, sometimes you just got to trust your instinct and lay down some of those pretty hands. The AK vs 62 was a bad beat, but you'd definitely want to overbet your strong top pair. Good luck!

Online poker is rigged Bro, it’s designed to entice action and take in a big rake. Don’t listen to the people who blame variance. There is a very complicated algorithm in play that gets everybody involved. People also like to say just because it’s online poker you are seeing more hands. Although that may be true. The number of hands per hour you see does not change the odds and the math. I would recommend playing at your local casino as supposed to playing online

Lol jamaal just a fish, don’t listen to this guy. Listen man if u just wanna make $1000 a month or so, play sngs. Go to global poker and play the 11 and 22 buyin 9mans. Soft as a babies butt, dudes literally punting their stacks. Super profitable if u have a setup that allows u to 8-10 table. I don’t even work rn I just grind 100 or so of these a day and I got my little herbal operation on the side, I’m fine

At low stakes players play anything, and they don't like to fold; neither do you, apparently. At stakes like these against these kinds of players the fold button is your best friend. Wait them out like a true predator and you'll take their money, regularly. Remember, boring poker is winning poker.

I really think you play the first and second hands wrong. He opens MP, on the CO you 3-bet and then he calls. Thinking on the range this is standard call lets say 40% equity The flop comes out and you c-bet 30% of the pot (I think in this offensive flop you have to bet polarized 75%) vs his Range (KQ, QJ, KJ, KT) all this hands you take value from. So he call The turn comes and you then bet 75% of the pot, pretty nice BUT he RERAISE YOU (Right now, he have hands in his range that are taking value (TT, 22, KT) and some bluff (you are blocking none) so well you call (I really think you have to shove or fold because on your range you can have KK too). And he shoves the river and you call. He told you two times hes super strong and you only think about your cards. The second hand. Why c-bet on this flop so defensive? Naaaaaa... I don't know how to play bru jk jajaja

When you bet two thirds the pot and they insta-call you that means they aren't folding so bluffing all in is suicidal. You also are making bets usually on the turn that nobody would be calling unless they have you beat. You also seem incapable of folding to check raises or in general when ever you have a strong single pair or weak two pair. I think it's a better idea to just stick to multi table tournaments when playing online. You are gonna have loosing sessions that exceed 10 sessions or even 20 sessions on a fairly regular basis if you play all the time it's just the variance of poker and these down swings are way easier to tolerate with multi table tourneys than with cash games. Seeing a months work of grinding in cash games go by by in a few days of run bad will make the common man borderline suicidal. I had about 20 buy ins of run bad in the video game and believe you me I was about to throw the controller at the wall and that wasn't even for real money.
@devpoker2 жыл бұрын
thanks for giving me feedback I really appreciate it. i will probably look into these online poker tournaments. i never really played tournaments before. 20 buy ins?! that’s wild 😲
@Jolly-Green-Steve2 жыл бұрын
@@devpoker try and find tournaments that are cheap buy ins (50 bucks or less)(or even in the 5-20 dollar range) that are between 500 and 2000 people that way you can get a big stack going and dominate small stacks with proper pre flop aggression once the blinds start going up. that one time you make top 3 is big money and worth all the buy ins you lose. once you get a big win and win 10,000 dollars plus it is almost impossible to do damage to your bankroll even when loosing a dozen or more 20-50 dollar buy ins.

Most of your play is good, only one comment on the AK hand vs 62 suited. On the flop, sizing should be 2/3 pot because of how wet the board is with both straight and flush draws. Your strategy has 1 large flaw, your bluffing too much for micro stakes. It just doesn't work, they always call. I refuse to triple barrel bluff unless I know the player is good enough to fold top pair with a weak kicker. Once you get to 1/2 and 2/5 then bluffing becomes more viaible.
