A big tip is pre play adjustments, when your in the play selection for defense press in the right joystick and it’ll pop up a bunch of options 1. Put coverage preference to speed 2. Set your read option to conservative 3. Switch the first coverage (hard flats I believe) option to 5 yards

To help ur offensive struggles remember changing routes to slants,drags and in/out routes are very helpful when u gotta get the ball out fast. Also try to recruit a scrambler or improviser QB for the mobility when no WRs get open. Love the videos wildcat.

Double tap the receiver icon to pump fake a pass to them it may help at times. You can use the right bumper for on the fly defensive adjustments. Also when you scout look for a gem it indicates they have good development or room to improve, broken gem opposite. Love the gameplay !

Hey wildcat when ur using people in coverage i recommend holding LT/L2 it pretty much keeps ur guy facing torwards the qb as well as making ut to where your dline actually gets pressure (works in madden and CFB)

hey wildcat, for recruiting I’ve learned that if you put points on only a select few players you really want you can get them to commit faster and then rinse and repeat for other players on your list to really grow your draft class!

As a small school, scouting isn't as necessary as it would be for a higher tiered program, you are just trying to find bodies and will probably be better than what you have. While its fun to after the four and five stars, settling for three star players is the move. That's not suggesting you can't sign the four and fives its just harder. Plus there are so many three stars in comparison that go unrecruited. Its best to just send the house on the prospects and then move to hard selling once in their top 5 if school grades are good enough (ie a C average). Like stated, scouting isn't necessary after the preseason. Fill the board and go after those who may have popped as gems that you scouted during the preseason. Its mostly a guessing game at small schools. Once you gain prestige, you can start being more selective and scout.

For scouting, check to see if they have any deal breakers. Recruit players who’s dealbreakers are high grades for your school and put them on a visit early if you can. Preplay adjustments are also good while playing such as guess play pass, pinching or slanting inside your d-line etc.

Idk if u know this. But when recruiting u can find what is most important to the player u are trying to recruit. The check box is what important. Once u find those by just pumping hours into the player u should “hard sell” or “soft sell” depending on the grade ur school has. U can try and “sway” them into liking what ur highest grades r. Hope this makes sense. CRANK THOSE HOGS!!!!

Just a tip that might help with playing running backs. I’ve noticed if you hit L2 and use just the left stick they do quick cuts. They’re not juke animations so they’re faster and you can get decent change of direction with it. But you don’t cover a lot of ground with it

Hey Wildcat, just giving you some advice; The Hogs program isn't good enough to get the attention many 4--5 stars. Go for the 2-3 star players next season(Season 3). If you guys win a championship(or win the division, not a huge fan of College Football. so i may be mislabeling it) with 2-3 star recruits, go after 3-4 stars. It gives your program a boost. It' be rough but we, the fans, are loving the series.

Once you get enough influence on a players you’ll learn their top 3 motivations which you can then use hard sell or soft sell to get more influence with less time if you use the right motivations, also keep an eye on P tier that’s your pipeline tier the higher it is the better your influence with work with them

Nah people in comments are still helping even if you don't have a lot of hours to scout. When you set up your recruiting board you can use hours for scouting and scholarships. It gives you more hours that week than usual too. That week is like a free week to scout and see who your guys are. Hope that helps.

You should consider switching to All American, heisman difficulty just makes it impossible to run certain defensive/offensive plays because it’ll get automatically blown up or exposed. And you can’t reuse plays in the playbook cuz the defense will auto adjust to it.

Honestly you're doing good on recruiting, it's a b**** when your school grades are low. At the start no matter who you can bring in they are usually better so Idk why people are saying to scout. Maybe just WR so you can find a deep threat with speed? But even then idk if its worth it yet
