Good match man! I’m scared to play you now after the last tournament 😅

That was a great game - I got lucky with some of the net balls 🙄 Your BH anti-spin to FH loop combo is unstoppable, I feel like if you play outside of the PNW you'll get some serious points

Tell your opponent Chase that I suggest him use the TigerWing Grip. It would really help him improve to another level.

OMG the guy in the red headband doesn't have a clue what's going on, has he...?! It can be truly horrible to play against ANTI-SPIN if you haven't learned what these type of rubbers does to the spin. My advice to you is this. Remember that it almost always reverses the spin you do. Up is down.... down is up.... left becomes right.... and so on. Think about WHAT type of spin you are sending over, and you will soon get the grip of it.

Mate, short pips on the backhand is a woman's thing. Just from watching your play for literally one set I can tell you that you should try putting attacking short pips on your forehand. And you should try something that's 47.5 degrees and very tacky on your backhand. Try either the DHS Hurricane 3 NEO 37 degrees, or the Gambler Nine Ultra Tack on your backhand. Try the Der Materialspezialist Spinfire with a thick sponge on your forehand. Btw, the reason you're struggling on receives is because you're standing too far into the middle and because you need an inverted rubber on the backhand so that you don't have to push with the backhand all the time. Instead, you need to learn the backhand flip and you need to use it all the time on the receive. You have to stop pushing it with the backhand on the receive like that. You're nearly chopping it and short pips truly aren't meant for that. You're constantly playing the receives high into the air because you're focusing on trying to hit spin on it rather than focusing on pushing it low and short. Plus, you're terrified of trying to attack anything with your backhand. Nevertheless, the way to keep a push short and low is to make contact with it RIGHT as it begins to bounce on your side. Don't worry about spin. It's unnecessary when the push is low and short. Also, it looks like you're a bit too choked up on your racket too. Don't allow the crotch of your hand (the part between your index finger and thumb) to touch the wing of your racket. This will allow you to get a lot more racket head speed, as well as a lot better brush contact. But yeah, mate, ditch the pips on the backhand. Try what I'm saying to do. FYI: I am a high level player as well as a high level licensed coach. I know what I'm talking about.

Shorts pips backhand is a woman's thing? My father played short pips backhand and got to 3rd bundesliga when he was 17, and 3rd bundesliga is easily in the top 10 leagues in the world still. Sure, short pips are kinda outdated, but they are not a woman's thing, and if you play well, you're gonna get to a much, much higher level than any player in this video is. Also, can you tell me what level exactly you play? Not trying to degrade you or anything, just curious.

@@michikatsutsugikuni3098 Let me be more specific: When talking of the highest levels of play, the short pips BH is only seen in the women's game. It has a lot to do with the 40+ ball and how it alters the play. Then, women are obviously shorter overall, which is what allows them to stay close and punch the BH with short pips, as the 40+ ball has made the game tend to feature lots of fast backhands closer to the table particularly in the women's game.

@@BiscoWho Well that's right, though at top levels short pips are rarely used anymore even in the women's game
