Obviously overall I couldn’t ask for more detail in a nature dominated game, but it bugs me how some of the birds don’t look how they’re supposed to. Like the bald eagle is almost all grays when irl they’re wings look almost black from afar. The contrast between the head and tail and the body is visible for miles but in rdr2 they’re gray? And the red tail hawk could’ve haf more contrast I think too, but other than that the details in wildlife are crazy

The fact that they even included a Carolina parakeet (4:40), which wouldn't have been extinct during the time period the game is set in, and mostly matched the real flight patterns of the animals... Even seeing something as small as the tail shape of the crow vs the raven is insane!!!

Sad fact is that you can actually make the Carolina parakeet go extinct in rdr2 if you keep hunting it too much and also the data base about the bird will change saying it facing extinction if you keep hunting it. Luckily the game gives you low honor if you poach it
