Inspired by Stephen King's 2016 children's book Charlie the Choo-Choo (which is itself extracted from King's Dark Tower series), Choo-Choo Charles is pure nightmare fuel. This survival game takes place on an island inhabited by a horrible, evil, hell train with spider legs that crawls across the land looking for people to eat. Your goal is to upgrade your own train and use it to fight back, while not getting eaten yourself.

*Fun Fact:* A spider's leg are hydraulic, meaning there's no bones, it uses hydraulic fluid called Hemolymph, because they don't have blood like we humans do. Their legs have muscles flexors that is powered by this hydraulic fluid, which is why when a spider dies their legs curl inwards.

The idea of a 1v1 between a player and someone playing as Charles is terrifying, specially if the one playing as Charles goes all in on the “im a sentient train monster” idea

It'll be more work on balancing and free-roaming, which I don't blame the dude for not wanting to do, but this can be a perfect multiplayer experience. You as Charles have to kill the player before he progresses enough to collect the eggs. You will also have a health bar that can only heal once you go back to your "starting base," being the place where anyone who has beaten the game already knows, and also how you will be able to recharge your abilities. I'd say some of the tweaks are that the more damage you take as Charles, the slower and weaker the attack gets. The player can get stronger by completing his missions and unlocking grounded turrets and areas to defend against Charles while not on the train. Also a stun gun against any cultists. Charles can get stronger by eating random other AI humans as an objective to gain abilities, like an indie version of Evolve. Abilities theoretically are from sensing the proximity of the player via hivemind cultists being expended on certain areas, 1-minute speed boost, and knowing what track has the train up to the points where the rails split. If it does come to the final battle where the eggs are collected and you transform into Hell Charles, you get the teleportation abilities and a multiplier on your health, and defense, and attack yourself also with having your abilities recharged during the fight. Also, the area's that you unlock include boobie traps to use against Charles anytime.

This has some great Potential for a multiplayer right there! To make it more fair for Charles, you can increase his speed and maybe some dodging mechanics for bullets if you time it right. The work of modders is insane!

It would be cool if when you get close to the player ai if the player ai is in the train it would start to attack you. another thing that should be added is If you could find any of the weird charles Cult people you would be able to make them follow you guard the eggs or hunt the player ai. What should be in this version you would be trying to stop the player ai from destroying the eggs and making you charles weaker if the player ai succeeds it shows the normal ending if you win it shows the jump scare than mini charles hatching from the three eggs and to heal you would have to rest and the player ai would only go to the next location once you have stopped following it.

So, I suspect the one used in the video is the Charles used for the Tutorial segment of the game when you first arrive to the island with Eugene, this Charles is intentionally slowed down but still fast enough to keep up with your starting stats because the rest of the game Charles no matter how much speed you have upgraded can still keep up with the train.
