Hi Paul, Your performance here is spellbinding for me ! I keep listening and watching over and over for subtle details in your playing that make this performance remarkable. As some of the other guys have commented, I think part of the difference is playing on a real pipe organ in a grand church. That has to be exciting and special and gives you more of a connection to the instrument than listening to an organ in headset. I want to tell you more, but I will save further comments for an email later on. This performance shows a maturity and growth in your playing since the 2020 recording which was flawless in itself. But somehow, you and the Sonnenorgel produced something more than music, you together created a living work of art with depth of soul.

(Guy78) Hello Paul, Bravo for this great surprise with this Praludium that I really like, thank you very much!!! And I have just listened to your two versions several times, played today on the Gorlitz organ and a year ago with the Laurenskerk sampleset. Well, in fact I like both!!. Great clarity of your very danceable playing on the Laurenskerk organ. Pedal play that stands out very well and a detailed, superb video. On the pipe organ, an introduction on the three keyboards, magnificent and very expressive. Great sonic magnitude (3.00 and 4.20) and at the end. A nice sound recording as a bonus, (bravo for the sound engineer that you are!!!). But I find the playing of the pipe organ a little less clear with the reverberation of the church. In the end, I will now listen to the Praludium in double loop: Laurenskerk and Peter & Paul. Great experience for you certainly and keep teasing us Paul!!

Thank you so much for your kind words!! I really enjoyed playing the Sonnenorgel - in real life it sounded even more wonderful than in the video!
