Game 1: I think at 12:19 the move 1.Kf6 is the try for White. Line goes 1. Kf6, Rf2+ 2. Kg5, Rg2+ 3. Rg4 and White has completed the bridge and wins (as was shown in the analysis in the vid). Game 2: Got the W, but definitely some mistakes made, which can be seen in the analysis as well. Yeah the resulting endgame is pretty tough.

when u took the pawn at 11:16 i was like noooo. the pawn is a shield, enemy king is lured away and cant stop the g pawn. at 11:27 instead of kf7 u couldve pushed the pawn to g7 and the rook has to stay on the 8th rank to cover g8 and cant check u cause the pawn covers f8 and if theres ever a 7th rank check your king can hide on h7 and go h8 and block 8th rank check with promotion. when u tried the rook block idea and saw your king cant abandon the pawn i was also like aw man it doesnt work and didnt see u could do it on the g file til u found it in analysis. i know what went wrong here. u knew the king had to get to the 5th rank and the fastest way to do this is that ">" shaped pattern. i also struggle with this. thinking i need to be fast to make progress when i shouldnt. maybe we're impatient or feel pressured and want to keep momentum going when we're supposed to slow down

Shame about the first game. For the 2nd game's endgame, something that helps me not fall for those forks is to be mindful of staying on the opposite color of the knight if possible. That way I don't need to calculate anything to avoid forks that come with check
