@@xjobiex 100% agreed. Just beat it again for the first time in 20 years after uninstalling Diablo 4 within 2 hours of playing. It has modern games beat, even with it's poor "graphics" in today's gaming landscape, the art style just adds so much character to the game. That being said, "resurrected" version would be highly appreciated. I would play the absolute shit out of it if it's anything like d2r.

tbh no matter what others say.. Sorc is probably the easiest class to play in this game. you can cheese so much stuf your spells are so powerful you have range he maybe a glass cannon but just dont get hit lol if you want it to be difficult in Diablo 1 Play as the Warrior. Stun Lock is the True enemy of Diablo 1 and if you get surrounded in diablo1 as a warrior unless your absolutely decked out in gear kiss yourself goodbye

Play every level completely as you go. Going down will shorten your life quickly.

Played it for the first time ever a month ago. Completed a warrior run in one week. Installed it on my steam deck. Completed a rogue run in two days. The game has not aged one bit. I never played it before and i was in love within 20 minutes. It has so many timeless qualities. It’s not complex. But half the charm is in that : The recipe is just perfect. There’s not an ounce of fat. I wouldn’t change a thing. Not even sure I would change loot hunting - it’s not bad when you played a few old school adventure game and in fact somewhat enjoyable as after a big scramble you look for stuff like an Easter hunt. Perfect game. And I am hard to please.

You couldn't kill that invisible monster because everytime he's injured he goes invisible and heals himself. You have to either follow him or do enough damage to outdamage his regen hahaha.

Sorc has recharge staff ability, good for basic staffs at low levels, but each time used it reduces max charges, so never use skill on Apocalypse staffs or anything good or you'll ruin it permanently.

This is why you recharge at adria, it doesn't alter the charges

@@Mooseguy15 well yeah, but i am just saying the recharge skill is useless later on once you have a good staff, same goes for the warrior's repair skill and godly gear. only skill that doesn't affect anything is the Rogue's disarm trap, which is also useless later on because...lol, traps...and telekenesis. Adriq gonna charge you about 8 full piles of gold or more for that plentiful staff of Apocalypse recharge, but it's the best way to clear the rooms in level 16 Hell.

You should always talk to Cain and identify all items before selling them. Items sell for more if identified and you are probably selling some good items.

How did u menage to run D1? I tried everything, even checked the compatibility with older systems but still nothing and when I try to run the game black screen appears (no menu music at all) and it just crashes to the desktop

3:15:26 oh now you have to do MGS playthroughs 😁 Also you should have visited Adria until you can buy a Tome of Town Portal from her. That way no need for TP scrolls anymore. Oh, and if you can't get the Hellfire expansion I would install Cheat Engine to increase the game's speed in town (no more slow walking).

Just started watching this and immediately I have a question: how can people be this dismissive of something.... how can you not focus for 30 seconds to watch an intro cutscene that you've never seen before? Honestly.... it's borderline disrespectful. If you really care _that_ little about the thing why even play it? I just don't get this. I realize this is probably a weird rant but holy shit, this stuff just irritates me on a whole other level.

different generation lol 😁I feel the same as you : I've played games since the Atari 2600 days, so we learned that movie CGIs were insanely special, some reward to the player, so it was "hush everyone and let's burn this thing into our retinae" 😀 It annoyed me too that his eyes were on his chat more than on the FMV, but Sload is probably too young to have known this feeling of reverency. I noticed a lot of new players, especially streamers, do that. Can't blame them, even though it's hard not to blame them lmfao.

Should have downloaded the Devilution mod. It's OG Diablo 1 with a major QOL overhaul. Does not ruin or change the base game in any way.

Immediately goes to lvl 2 without having even killed or even seen anything so far XD A bit more XP for more lvls and skills and items doesn't hurt, or you're gonna be lagging behind, and selling things without ID'ing them really hurts me, probably threw away good shit, and for sure for a lot less gold a lot of the time.

NVM thats hellfire only! Oh do yourself a favor, if you find a ring of thieves, keep it. It says it halfs trap damage, but it actually halfs all ranged damage!

watching noobs play Diablo 1 is so fun! and frustrating. you want to backseat drive! like early on...all he had to do was use that charged bolt staff and spam it! should not have sold it! at least not until it was out of charges. 💀 edit: vitality as a sorc is the dumbest thing to do! magic and strength are priority! Gawd I love these kind of 1st time Diablo vids though...just gotta fast forward video alot because there is no run until D2. (Walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk everywhere...and then, if you're a warrior, chasing succubus if you do not have good ranged spells, walk walk walk walk walk 💀

And Original D2 did suck. It needed at least until patch 1.04 to become playable past nightmare, really needed 1.09 to become like the D2 we would recognize.
