This is my fave course. It’s where I learned to play 16 years ago. and still the best course close to me imo. It’s always full of fire ants. But you can jump into the water when you’re done the course

Another cool Toronto island course fact. The bricks used for the shortest tee pads were bricks from the old hockey hall of fame building. Pretty cool.

the shortest tee pads are paved ashphalt. Maybe the first iteration of the course from the 80's/90's had that but those dont exist now on the course

So amazing you 3 are playing in Ontario!! I highly reccomend checking our Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Burlington, Christie's Conservation in Hamilton, and LaFortune Park in Caledonia. All 3 have options for longs & shorts and multiple basket layouts, amazing courses and I'd love to see y'all at my home courses!

My bro lives on Ward's Island and playing disc golf with his kids here got me started 3 years ago...now I am full fledged daily addict who plays all over lol. We're blessed with tons more great courses around the GTA...keep packing that passport and come back through from time to time! ;) Fun fact: the Island course dates to 1979 and may be Canada's oldest. Mos def has a lot of soul. Life saving fact: common broadleaf (plantain) chewed up will instantly relieve those wicked stinging nettles! While you're here you should check out some of our other courses, Centennial Park is on par with the Island in difficulty, and then we have smaller but very scenic lakeside courses at Ashbridges Bay Park and Marilyn Bell Park.

I have a question for you for your podcast if it’s cool? Dude so I just played this course yesterday because I’m in Toronto for work. I always heard things like there’s gnarly bugs and spiders and wildlife at some of these courses. I was so hesitant to go into the bushes at this course because of all the crazy spider webs around. What do you guys do about that part of the game? I’m trying to be in the fairway but having to dig through the rough is a part of the game, and I don’t have crazy spiders and snakes to even think about back in Milwaukee. This course had me shook and I left a disc in some deep stuff I’d normally dive into. Thanks man. Loved the video.
