One thing that DB Fighterz did that I wish was implemented in all games is being able to add “ping delay” in the training room because it gives you the ability to stimulate online play.

My favourite part of fighting games is when they put you up against the guy that only owns 1 game and it's the one you're playing, and he's dedicated all his time to it.

Damn I didnt know you played FighterZ. Still my favorite game. 18:40 level one supers are now invincible on frame 4 Also the last character alive on the team can cancel level 1 supers into level3 19:06 if on your last character, sparking mode timer no longer runs while comboing someone.

Thanks for informing me on the changes… no wonder people throw out more raw level 1s now lmao. And damn the sparking buff is insane. I noticed right away lmaooo. I remember it was best to pop it right away and just gain character advantage. Guess they changed it to be a strong comeback mechanic

No not at all. Getting comboed for like 30 seconds straight every hit is not dragon ball. Also they don’t differentiate enough from other fighting games, the only dragonball-y stuff in here is sd and vanish. (All of this stuff is said by clayton chapman the most ‘tistically dbfz obsessed person on the planet.) It’s just a fun and well made fighting game with a dragon ball skin, definitely not the best dbz game.

I don't really fuck with fighting games outside of Dragonball, Sparking and Fighterz are different enough to run both. They're both ridiculously maximalist though --- Dragon Homing, Burst Maximum, SPARKING mode. It's all wild

I learned how to play fighting games with dbfz by getting my ass beat by my friend in like season 1 and it was a ton of fun but I did fall off around the time of c assists well. I just got tired of having to block for 10 to 15 seconds to then be put into a 20 second combo and get killed with the next one. I do wanna at least go back in the lab and mess around before trying to hop online again

because over time more people join the game, there is kind of "inflation" of rank points. that's why people who are God Of Destruction today, aren't as good as God of Destruction 4 years ago. hope that makes sense :)

I remember this game being such a bummer, I bought the pre-order, played the beta ver. and brazilian servers were ALWAYS trash, borderline unplayable, even after launch. Sometime after this, the game got better servers and all, so I decided to hop on to it, turns out I've lost my pre-order DLCs (Goku and Vegeta blue) and I just uninstalled it, this kind of game is REALLY expensive on south america, and as a Budokai 3 and Super Dragon Ball Z fan I was very frustrated. Promised myself to never open this game again, even though I spent 1/3 of a minimum wage on this thing.
