Quick note: impact frames can be used to emphasize fast motion. Because of this, you don't need to draw in-betweens after to a different pose as long as the impact frames give the impression that they're going there if that makes sense.
@demetrisbarnwell27982 жыл бұрын
I still kinda don’t understand, but this is a helpful tip!
@guppo262 жыл бұрын
@@demetrisbarnwell2798 I'll preface this by saying I don't draw myself. But what I think they meant is if you have 2 frames of someone starting to throw a ball from behind them, instead of having 6 frames to complete the throw smoothly, you can instead have the third frame be an impact frame in which the ball is just leaving the hand that is now fully extended in front. Effectively, you skipped multiple frames of the arm moving there, but because the frames leading up to the impact insinuate what movement was going to happen, it'll just feel like it happened super quick and snappy. Does that make sense? (and is that even correct @Definitleef?)

One of my favorite things about these videos is that with so many different artists, you're going to wind up with many different art styles. Went off on the smoke effect tangent, and I looked up smoke effect GIFs My generally understanding has been that it gets bigger and then it starts to break off a little and dissipate. The one GIF looked a lot like when you play with a water bottle and the air pocket, where it went up and out and part of it broke off on the bottom. Gas is a liquid that doesn't stay together :) (or ig like when you see food coloring, it disperses into the rest of the air/liquid).

That said, I think it'd have been more fitting for her character if it was more similar to the Lucky Star girl's super saiyan form's hair. Flowing straight, and only lifting up at the ends. Though I'm not sure how this challenge worked, if they knew what character they were drawing. And the aforementioned "fitting for character" probably isn't in mind when making these. Though when all's said and done, it is an amazing and very creative oni-like super saiyan form!
