Estes has the highest healing among all supports, but Floryn overshadows him and all other supports. The reason for that is Floryn's healing abilities can be casted on a safe distance. Heck, her ultimate disregards how far her allies are. While Estes on the other hand needs to be close to his allies to fully utilize his healing potential. Don't get me wrong though, He's great when he is teamed up with heroes that doesn't require much mobility. 🙆‍♂️🙆‍♂️

also another important note is that Flory's ultimate makes all allies immune to anti heal for 2 secs and that's literally why she's so good because it makes building anti heal kinda useless when it's time for team fights.

In this META, playmaking or jockey healing (hence the reason why Angela is currently at Conditional tier) requirement for roamers becomes the reason why heroes like Estes and Rafa (although solid against slow-reliant heroes like Yve and Gloo as a cheeze pick) became underused. Also due to the fact that Estes requires a UBE-focused lineup to actually work No UBE-focused lineup = no hope for Estes Heck, even Floryn, Jaypee and Milez special, overshadows those two too because global heal

As estes main, its not anti heal but aoe heroes that really F your team up. Also, its best to use estes with tanky hero team. Btw, from experience, once your team get ahead and get used to your healing (aka let them dive towers and get out safe) once that happen, get ready to be targeted by 5 enemy + being abandoned by your team 🤣.

Although floryn has soraka ult, estes is more similar to soraka due to his low mobility, lower healing range, and low hp to make up for the high healing output. The problem is Soraka can heal regardless of range, so even if she’s too far she can still buy time for her teammates by ulting. Whereas Estes needs to be somewhat nearby to help. This also makes it more likely for him to get caught in cc or take aoe damage. To counteract this, I would just make Estes ult uninterruptible by cc during the cast time. I think it’s fair that skilled players should be able to buffer cc so that his ult still goes off even if he gets hit by the cc as he pressed it before he got stunned.

That's why they created flask of oasis, oracle and support emblem is there as well bruh. Initially, anti-heal was -50% and for a very long time. Dealing with estes is a pain with trash team in solos. I rarely won when there is estes on the enemy and rarely loses when in mine as long as the estes "rotates" and not baby sit a single hero. 50% healing reduction is just right.

As an Estes main, I agree. If you want to use utility, just use Mathilda and Floryn. Angela if there's a hero on your team that loves to dive the enemy whether it's frontline or backline. They should revert the nerf on his 1st skill where healing stops if the link gets cut, mobile heroes can't maximize his heal because of this nerf. Shorter cd for 2nd skill to have better vision, Rafaela, Mathilda, Floryn, Angela can provide better vision because of short cd. Estes' passive is one of the useless passive right now, good for early game poke but mid to late,it's useless

My main struggle with Estes is his lack of scaling, yeah he's great at being a healer but what can he do during the late game when half the enemy team has antiheal and he can't shrugg off the damage anymore? They should at least give him an extra passive to linked allies that give them 0-15% or more damage reduction or increase based on his magic power. (Lol this is just my excuse to build mage Estes effectively) Also his mana consumption is so insane even with demon shoes

It needed to be a "fast" game to dominate with Estes - meaning the game ends in 10-12 minutes and your team wins. When late game comes, it's hard to dominate even if you have meta heroes on your team as the enemy team gets their items and their damage is enough to kill your team as well. And no, Anti Heal items isn't the issue here as well. Estes can't tank that much especially if they have AoE damage, tons of CC skills and heroes that can "one shot kill" a hero. Which is why Estes won't do much in SoloQ, unless your teammates how to utilize him really well.

And this is effect mino to as he is the only tank that treats like healer supports and left rot in bottom of tank roam as setter his ability is not enough not like 2019-2022 when his rage still there ... I hate rage it over Bering and unlike now day lock ult hero with energy bar under there HP bar (i will say lukas and phovius because they are the new one that got this system) but the difference are at those time mino rage will decrease mean while this hero they only move up not down even if there ult is lock and behind there own gimmick it still better than mino rage that decrease... That system actually doesn't need to be gone but just the decrease just erase and like phovius just keep it there if you not use ult it just fine system untill there and stop stupid nerf when he is already and most of time is at the bottom....

Honestly floryn over shadowed estes. Shes easer to play. She doesn't need to constantly fallow core or mm. Movement speed isn't really an issue since she could literally be at the fountain and heal teammates. And plus with two holy crystals in late game can easily heal beyond half health of a tank/hard feel fighter not to mention anti heal is completely useless against her While estes consume too much mana has a very slow movement speed just okay heal (if semi tank which further reduced healing) and really really really needs a good teammates order not to be targeted

Since Assasins Meta is Back And Utility is now Nerf we rather see a pickoff or set roam, Since Supports Often Rely on Teamates Survivability Like Support are best paired with utility tanks who can tanked damaged and also gives damage. But now since assassin meta is back team often prefers engagers and pickoffs to set fight for the assassins and to burst them down so that's why Support Era is Over once Utility Era is Over.

Estes already has a slow with his second skill. The last thing estes need is more cc, that literally punishes you for trying to lock him and making it more frustrating to deal with. Adding a small damage to the link will allow him to utilize glowing wand and ice queen wand.

Estes would be even more niche if he has less way of dealing damage or slow, the passive is very useful. In fact one of Estes' roles is poke. The passive is one of the things he has aside from heal, and as we know it his heal isn't always effective. During early game his poking abilities are great for someone that is able to heal others a lot, mid-late game the slow can be crucial to catch or prevent someone escaping.

Now with assassin back in the meta, healers return to their old state of being inferior to tanks because a single good set can turn the whole tide of battle, and they can protect the team carry better

Honestly though, floryn lowkey OP. Imagine having your heal available globally, and isn't affected by anti-heal. Also, with flask of the oasis, floryn becomes difficult to burst down by midgame, and with fleeting time, ult heal becomes spammable by lategame, can keep sieging and never going back to base for everyone. Plus the option of buffing your teammate with +60 damage right at the start btw
