I grew up with the first one, but Vol. 2 definitely is a more refined experience, making the first one kind of moot. I have yet to play Homecourt, but I feel like it would be my favourite if it wasn't more over the top than the previous ones; it's so jarring watching players leap 20 feet in the air with the realistic art style.

This is hands down my favorite game ever. I was 12 years old when this game came out (vol 3) the first time I played it was vol 1 . My fav version was vol 2 . The nostalgia is real.
