You can switch characters in Sonic Engine test,and the different characters have special abilities.Like tails can fly and Ray can glide.

I know I'm late, but hi, I'm the developer of both Sonic Frenzy games! Super glad you enjoyed them; they're definitely more like Mario games with a Sonic skin, but for Scratch, I'd say they hold up pretty well haha. Made the first one all the way back in 2017, crazy that people still play it!

The engine test doesnt use its own sprites it uses sprites from a rom hack callednSonic Boom (not based on the series/ has its own story)
