As someone who never played F1 2014 I did play the 14 season first and it greatly increased my enjoyment of 2015. I did a full 2014 season with Kvyat at Toro Rosso and then did the 2015 season with him at Red Bull and it actually acted like a Career Mode for me. I played 2 Full seasons which isn't much less than I normally do which is generally 2-3 seasons. I actually didn't even finish my 2nd season in F1 2018 so for me 2015 was actually pretty good. I loved the fact that the 2014 season was included. If it wasn't I definetly would not of had half as much fun with the game.

I played 2014 but in my defense, F1 2015 was my first F1 game and I was using 2014 to get familiar with more drivers and Caterham. Funnily enough the entire reason I bought it (and afterwards got hardcore into F1) was because me and my friend stumbled across your channel and got really into your MyDriver series! I've played every F1 game for 300+ hours (including 2015) since, been to two Canadian GPs with my friend, and eventually got into WEC, FE and MotoGP (and many other series)... all because I saw your MyDriver series in my recommended one day and I decided to watch it. Two new F1 and racing fans for life were created and it was largely thanks to you.

F1 2015 is the only F1 game I own on PC. You have to plug your controller in when it asks if you want to play 2015 or 2014. It's the only way I've found to get it to work properly.

The point of the 2014 season is that most of it was already done and it took next to no effort to complete it alongside the main 2015 mode. Remember how the new generation of F1 games was supposed to start with 2014 but was delayed? And frankly, if you go back to it today (if you're masochistic enough to do so), the 2014 mode is straight up better than the 2015 one, not least because of the immersion factor that comes with Croft and Ant having much better lines for 2014 than for 2015. Although that makes career mode's absence even weirder seeing as, taking out the whole 'entry in a yearly series' aspect, they effectively had two years to develop this game...
