Anyone complaining that they get a cool new legend, remember this: EA essential told respawn to help the developer start a mobile version, but once they got going, the development team for mobile took it completely their own way. Essentially two separate games with the same starting point.

The game not being developed by the same team doesent remove the fact they are screwing the player base on other platforms with exclusive charactors for a different platform to suck the mobile market d*ck. Sure its not respawn, but its EA than, or some one at the head of respawn. Either way, who ever desided that exclusive legends was going to be a thing is a c*nt.

It's such a cool concept for a character. When I first saw Fade it reminded me of tracer with the rewind and whatnot. Just hope that they have more movement based legends in the future for both PC and mobile.

His abilities seem perfectly fine to me. Theres plenty of outplay potential for him and against him, and he seems like he would be a great pick for an aggressive legend that isn't Wraith or Octane

ult is also really interesting, in some situations it can give the other team a free rotate out and in other situations it can completely outplay a team by taking their spot in zone or allowing you a safe rotation.

His passive doesn’t fit at all though, it’s only there to make playing on mobile more bearable. Obviously if he were to he added to regular apex they’d give him a different, more fitting passive.

ye but slide boost for me is a simple op movement basically a better bang passive if in pc i do remember that respawn try to not make movement characters op like a great example is pathfinder rest of his kit would be annoying to fight against but i say i guess fair enough but i think if a pro use it will be seen as the greastest must pick for agressive players

It'll be really easy to add Fade into the Apex lore by making him into a failed experiment at IMC, but repurposing him as an attack dog/ bounty hunter to capture Wraith. Giving him void grenades to neutralize Wraith by trapping her in a sort of containment bubble ( since Wraith can't enter an already existing void than her own), he joins the Apex games to find and bring her back so that the IMC can make super soldiers ( void operatives).

You have to fully Flash Back all 5 seconds though. If you stop midway, it won't work

This escape ability reminds me of Psijics skill from The Elder Scrolls Online Works the same exsept in ESO it restores your hp, magica and stamina to the same level, as they were at the moment of time that you escaped to

Something that is interesting is that the official website states that Fade is mobile-first content and not mobile exclusive content. So it's likely that Fade could be added to the base game in a later season. Also it's interesting that Fade's ultimate is similar to Phantoms leaked ultimate.l, while the placeholder picture for Phantom in the leak is very similar to Fades final design. Makes me wonder if Fade is actually just the final iteration of Phantom.

You enter the phase rewind so flipping quick, I think it is overpowered. Imagine a Fade has just pushed your entire team and is about to get mowed down, but then instantly into the phase rewind and he gets out for free. At least Wraith has a startup where you can actually punish her for doing something stupid.

He has so much potential as well, say there’s a trio camping a building, throw his ult at the wall of the building and send the team into the void, then you could just nade through the window and the team would be trapped. Unlimited potential for sure

I feel like the stuffs they put in mobile is like beta testing for pc versions like if you look at the "Skill Tree" for every legend can be a possible update for pc like for example Lifeline's upgrades are pretty interesting because there are upgrades that can make her DOC stick to the first person it heals or make it tankier but heal slower and many more

Ngl I think they’re just a little busted, the phase rewind goes pretty far and the slide speed boost is kinda just an octane stile that doesn’t take hp. I’d love to see a somewhat nerfed version of him because that would be freaking awesome thing.

I want that night time worlds edge. It was cool when night KC was in the normal rotation for like a week. Unfortunately everyone cried that they couldn't see well enough so it never came back. Like "THATS THE POINT! ITS DARK!". They offset it with very high digi-threat spawn but they still cried.

I play mobile now and I used fade as my main until loba came out I have 500+ kills with him he is really cool to use . His abilities are very useful in pushing teams or escaping situations

I think he'd be a great addition to the game, but his abilities would need tweaking obviously. His ultimate is actually fine, but his tactical and passive at least. His tactical would need a higher cool-down (30 seconds), and he'd honestly need an entirely new passive because having a legend that straight up just has better slides would be busted - it's fine in mobile but in the main game it'd be horrible to fight against on PC with superglides and stuff. Maybe he could have a passive where any enemy in the void gets highlighted, like he'd see Wraith's while phasing and taking a portal, and he'd see other Fades while rewinding.

I feel like the most important angle is to talk about how he can use his tactical to actually start a fight, whether it’s act like you’re running from someone then jump back or down someone, quickly escape and heal, and rewind to the person downed with their potential teammates by them at that point

The rewind ability alone is so OP to have on a character that pc players would be spamming him as much as possible. Every fight would be rewind time and would be extremely annoying

Extras: -His passive has a 10 second cooldown after performing the slide. -He also reloads both of his guns while phasing, but the reload only finishes if you let the phasing finish and not stop it halfway. -He cannot shoot enemies in the void, but scans enemies in that he caught with his ult. -His ult gives enemies a slow movement effect. -Just like Wraith, his phasing has a slight delay, which leaves him vulnerable for about a second.

His tactical does reload his weapons and his ult scans the enemies if I remember correctly but I can say that enemies caught in his ult cannot kill or be killed

@@thomasgaming7656 The slow effect does not apply to your teammates. His ult helps your teammates get to cover or reposition safely. If you still think it fucks up your teammates, then you do you. I don't think I can make you think otherwise.

@@thomasgaming7656 The perks aren't that big of a thing imo, since you can't use it on ranked matches, only on pubs. Then again, some of the perks are fun and convenient, just like the one for Lifeline where DOC follows the first person it heals unless they take damage. Another one is the one for Octane where he gets 2 double jumps (total of 3 jumps) when using his jump pad or the one where the stim can be toggled (in exchange for continuous damage). What I mean is that perks wouldn't be that big of a thing in Apex PC and console if EA/Respawn thinks of adding them there, since they can't be used in rank. If ever perks are added there, they'd forget about the perks' existence since they're not much of a big thing.
