Don't believe me go look at the season 9 launch trailer, it's the same people that did this one. Then compare both of those to the season 8 launch trailer to see the difference Tl;dr: they switched animation studios, to see the old one look at any trailer season 8 and prior, to see this one look at any trailer from season 9 and onward.

Just realized that the 3 or 4 general villains in apex are now Revenant, Ash, and Alter, and caustic kinda being a villain. All of them except caustic from what i know of has an arch nemesis, Revenants is Loba, but both Ash and Alters arch nemesis is Horizon. Seems like if they ever made a show for Apex, even though id want some screen time for each legend, Horizon could be the main character out of all the legends just due to her having conflict with Ash then Alter.

Ash is more neutral more than anything. She's not really plotting anything evil. Just trying to get rid of her human side and better herself as a pilot. She doesn't even consider horizon her enemy even when she messes with her. (Since she thinks she is superior.) The only real villains so far is Rev, caustic and now alter. Caustic has been sidelined for awhile now and rev is plotting something with his army.. alter though, she apparently wants to destroy the world apex games is in but only time will tell

Ok, for those who don't know, manipulation was sometimes in Titanfall 2. In one of the missions, you can switch locations, as if teleporting to the past and back to the same point where you stopped or moved. They can do something similar

Cool seeing them actually hand-to-hand combat for once. Just as all others said, an Apex show would be dope. Even just more Stories from the Outlands that are 7+ min or so. Either way, the series is really taking a turn with Alter introduced. I don't know how to describe it, but she brings something dark that we didn't even have necessarily with Revenant.

alter is an alternate version of horizon that was never able to save her son in any dimension but this somers is able to thats why she is here i bet even the reason she never goes back in any time line is because if she does itll change all of history and her friends NOW wouldnt be where they are and have the bonds they do so alters here to break them up and get somers to go back in this one. im calling it here.
