Rather than play testing the half ass "next gen" update they expect players to find a fix themselves... Luckily you're still able to do the quest you just have to go to the Harbormaster Hotel and you should be able to continue the quest

some might just casually watch Jabo and be like "oh i like this funny guy, he's so laid-back and chill" but sometimes he comes up with something that hits really hard like the topic at 3:52:36. this man has got some wisdom alright. i don't know how to explain it but just from the main channel vids you simply can't quite get this side of him, which is why i was not expecting it. every second dedicated watching Jabo stuff is a second well spent and i'm so glad i got back into watching this channel.

To be sorta fair, 76 did have NPCs at launch, it's just that humans were dead and the world and story was built around that. I think Wastelanders was always planned, but the current human characters do feel kind of tacked-on in the sense that all of the original environmental story-telling is still there, so you got people hanging around dead bodies, but that's just typical Bethesda. Something I don't see people mention that I appreciate is the re-addition of stat checks in dialogue, even just the starting quest in 76 has more than all of Fallout 4 and actually being able to pacifist through some stuff is nice. At the end of the day, I think it was ballsy of Bethesda to put players into a dead post-apocalypse world that was actually, ya know, dead. The game was bleak as hell and creepy at times. There was clear effort put into environment design and audio logs to tell so much story of pretty much everyone dying horribly, painfully, and alone. And then you find yourself stuck waiting for your number to be called at the fucking DMV because bureaucracy never changes.

I actually started my most ambitious fallout play through yet, I'm basically not allowed to kill Kellogg until I've beaten every dlc, creation bulb add-on I have, completed every sided quest for all factions I have access to (settlement quest don't count, for that it I stop after getting access to the armory of the castle, alomg with quest rhat dont have ending like the tecnical data quest since those are infinite), along with doing every companions quest (I've only done nick, piper, curie, and cait) and discovering all locations. I'm not achievement hunting, though I did get an achievement for dying to a super mutant suicider for the first time, I guess, im surprised that ive never died to one before. I'm having a ton of fun with it. I'm doing more than any of my original play throughs and seeing more random encounters I've never seen until now outside of videos.

My girlfriend refused to watch the show, because she hates the games so much, so one day she was doing her homework and I just put it on and she was like I'm not watching that, so I responded with that's fine, I just liked it so I want to rewatch the first episode. She rolled her eyes knowing what I was doing, and after the bandit scene she slowly got more and more interested, until we watched two more episodes lol

Omg with the Modified Baseball Farming in The Red Rocket Truck Stop, do you know you can build Hoppers? In the Industrial section of the build menu you can build something that takes overworld items and puts them in the container. You could build-mode yourself into an airtight box and dupe the baseballs as much as you want and instantly have them all caught in a container

Other than mods breaking and needing to be redownloaded, the next gen patch improved my fallout 4 experience. I'm on Xbox, and the game would crash every 5 minutes and was virtually unplayable. I actually stopped playing 4 for a bit because of this. But when the patch dropped, the most that happens is the game studders sometimes when in Boston. Overall I feel like this patch was a good thing, I've been playing fallout 4 again ever since the patch

My opinion is that Fallout 4 is a great gateway into Fallout. It's not the best by any means (it is my favorite), but it helps people get into RPGs as a whole. It gives accessibility to RPGs. I would have never been able to pick up Fallout 1 or even Baldur's Gate 3 if it weren't for Fallout 4. Love your content!

Cowboys didn’t use muskets, that’s from the civil war which was before the cowboy/outlaw times, even if they could’ve used them most avoided as very quickly the faster firing semi auto rifles and single/double action revolvers and whatnot were more accessible and useful in gunfights and standoffs

The rare merchant Scribe you encountered is probably the rarest due to the Automatron DLC messing up his spawn. The fact you found him at all is cool, but if you send them to your settlement he specifically turns an open armor stall into a level 4 vendor and unlocks some legendary armor.
